Does exactly what it says on the tin.
We bought this for use on holiday. We needed to cover a large window to ensure our 10 month old slept well while we were away. My husband put the blind up the first day we arrived and took it down the day we left. Not once in our 7 day holiday did it fall down or come even partly unstuck and it did completely black the room out.We were so pleased with it that we've now come back and used it on our babies bedroom windows...again, they've been stuck for several weeks without coming off...I'm going to have to take them off to clean the windows!I'm not sure if the surface you stick this to makes the difference but stuck to PVC window frame or the glass itself, it stays stuck!Overall a very effective product and easy to use.

Brilliant does the job perfectly
Ordered this as we have a small window in the bedroom that no matter what we do let’s in light and wakes you up at 5am. I bought Velcro strips instead of using the double sided tape as we only really need it up at the weekend. The Velcro was easy to use and the film was easy to cut to size. This product is brilliant and I would recommend it really does the job and blocks out the light.

Won't last long but very efficient
I read all the reviews before buying this item. They are mostly true. This product is just a plastic sheet with double sided adhesive on the edge. Yes you can do your own with bin liners and double sided adhesive. However I chose to buy it because I did not fancy DYI this time. Once you cut it and place it on the windows the room becomes TOTAL DARK. It is very efficient, almost unbelievable. However I doubt how long will the thing last since I lift it every day to have some kind of natural light during the day. The sheet is very thin and may break soon. The adhesive starts already to be a bit un-adhesive (after 2 weeks).

Not great - only worked for roughly 24 hours.
Bought this to go around a window in my little boy's room on holiday as he will not sleep unless it's completely pitch black. Followed the easy instructions exactly and put it on and the room was totally dark, absolutely no light getting in at all and thought great! By the morning though the tape had started to come away from the window and was letting light through. Had to keep pressing down round all the edges each night so it would work, but there were always little bits where the tape just wouldn't stick back down and that was after 24 hours. The sheet it massive though, and for the first night it did work but I think the tape was very poor quality and just kept coming away from the window. Would recommend buying it but maybe buy a different better tape than the one provided.

Very useful and straightforward to use
Just returned from a 10 day trip where these were used for the first time. Not too bulky to pop into the suitcase, I unfolded the two large sheets and taped them together to cover the large window, using tape only along one length of the blind. I used one length of tape along the top of the window frame (UPVC) and this held up the sheets all night without a problem. We removed the sheets during the day and the sticky tape remained sticky enough to hold the sheets for 3-4 nights before needing to be changed. There was no problem removing the tape at all from the window frame and on the glass where we popped a bit extra, it left no sticky residue anywhere.A definite must-have for all future travels with the baby.

Used this for "Borrowed Light" windows above doors.
Purpose: Bought this blackout sheet for use on "Borrowed Light" windows above bedroom doors in our house. When one bedroom had the light on at night, it shone through the glass above the door into neighbouring bedrooms, which was not pleasant for others trying to sleep.Package: The 1metre x 3metre sheet came folded, along with a 50 metre roll of double sided sticky tape and instructions. The sheet is made from thin plastic.Usage: Cutting the sheet is easy with scissors. Then, stick the tape to the sheet, peel the back off the tape, and stick to the window. It is recommended you stick it to glass or uPVC frames - not painted frames. It is also recommended to give 2cm extra to each side (I didn't do this). It is difficult to get the sheet perfectly flat on the window, but that's just due to the properties of thin plastic sheets. Take your time and don't get frustrated. Do the best you can, and don't expect it to be perfectly flat without wrinkles or creases.Overall, this did the job for me. It blocked out the light from neighbouring bedrooms and allowed me to get sleep even if other people have lights on.

Way too expensive
Its literally foil with a side of double sided tape. I could have bought this locally for way cheaper.

Super Verdunklung
Die Folie dunkelt wirklich super ab. Natürlich muss man sie genau zuschneiden, sonst scheint an den Seiten etwas durch. Versteht sich aber von selbst. Die Anbringung ging einfach und schnell.

Folie in weiß
