HG Hob Thorough Cleaner

This is the best ever , 15-25 minutes and the ice has gone, wipe dry and trays back in, nothing defrosted . used many times.

The HG Coffee Machine Descaler genuinely does what it promises. I’ve used it on both my espresso machine and a pod brewer, and it cleared heavy limescale build-up quickly and without the unpleasant side effects that some other descalers leave behind. The solution dissolves scale effectively — even stubborn residue in tight internal pathways — and after running through the prescribed cycle, water flow and heating performance returned to how the machines worked when new. It doesn’t leave a filmy residue or clog tiny passages like poorer products can. Application is straightforward: mix according to the instructions, run a descaling cycle, then rinse with fresh water. No guesswork. There’s a noticeable difference in machine performance and taste afterwards, which indicates this product is doing the job rather than just masking the issue. Scent and handling are manageable; it doesn’t produce harsh fumes or offensive odours compared with some industrial descalers. If you want an effective, simple descaler that actually removes scale and helps restore coffee quality, this is one of the better ones I’ve used. 4 stars simply because its not the cheapest solution

Brilliant and made my most hated annual (if lucky) job a lot easier. I had to apply it several times (there was a lot of ice) and hack away a bit but start to finish was only about an hour. Smells horrible but the smell doesn’t last.

Absolutely superb! We thought my daughter had ruined our new induction hob making pancakes but this cleaner got all the marks off with minimal elbow grease. It has also completely removed all the baked on grime from the inside of our oven door. A must buy.

Not bad but not as good as i thought it would be for cleaning inside my combi oven microwave.

I have just reordered this product as it is an absolute godsend. There was so much ice build up in my freezer that I expected to see the Northern Lights when I opened the door of it! I took the drawers out, scraped off the loose ice and then sprayed it all. 20 minutes later I had an ice free freezer again!!! .... plus a note to myself put on the door to remind me to defrost more often!! Highly recommend this product 100%

Does the job but not very effective

Does what it says on the tin! We live in an extremely hard water area, so taking care of our expensive coffee machines is a must - or they just don't last! This does the job nicely and is much more affordable than the OEM powder or tablets.

Stove tops, chimneys are the most grease-est places ever and this works like a charm! So happy with it. Had to review this as it deserves 5 stars!
