Having read Priestley's 3 previous books (Oversubscribed, Entrepreneur's Revolution and Key Person of Influence), I couldn't wait for 24 Assets' release. Like his other ones, 24 Assets is written in a easy to read, relaxed tone. It is a perfect blend of the author's own beliefs and case studies (mostly from businesses he has actually worked with) that form the strong argument that a business needs assets in order to transform into something scalable. If you are an entrepreneur that wants to carry on the struggle of running "a profit and loss business", rather than investing time, money and energy into creating key business assets than this book is really not for you. This book is also not for you if you don't want to gain an understanding of how successful businesses are built and scaled up.The thing I love most about Priestley's style is that it is always clear and concise. Although 24 Assets is full of comprehensive material, the delivery is made in such a way that you never feel out of your depth, but rather excited by the "aha moments" that unfold one after another.The book categorises and outlines the 24 necessary things that need to be put in place in order to build your business successfully. It is a sort of antidote to the daily anxiety of just not knowing what to work on to better develop your business - whether you are a hungry start-up or stagnant C-suite. Don't mistake that for thinking that this is a book of quick fixes or takes the view of "just think it and it will happen" though. Priestley clearly states that working on the material will take time and effort, but he also assures it will be worth it. And with his background (he has worked with thousands of entrepreneurs), I find it hard not to believe him!I challenge any business owner to read this book and not identify at least one crucial asset that their business lacks (and then not to sign up to one of Priestley's even more informative courses)...

I read this book over several months, digesting every idea, making notes while I did so. It’s worthwhile taking your time to study and take in all the values and ideas discussed.

Daniel Priestley is undoubtedly a key thinker in the world of entrepreneurship and business growth today. 24 Assets is his fourth and best book (although I highly recommend them all) and it provides a clear and actionable road map for anyone who is planning their business, struggling in business or building an already successful business.In a clear and entertaining style he outlines they key assets that your business needs in today's rapidly changing economy, he explains why they are crucial and most importantly he offers suggestions for how you can easily start to build them today.The book focuses on the assets of a high performing business that will support the kind of lifestyle you are looking for but it also places the entrepreneurs journey within the bigger context of the global challenges we face and the opportunities that arise from combining your higher motivations with the global changes we are seeing impacting economies and lifestyle choices across the planet.In short, the book provides a blueprint for making money, enjoying the process and using your business to positively impact others. I think you'll find it a thought provoking read that will allow you to tweak and improve your business plans and increase the emotional and financial returns you get from your efforts.I could write more but having read the book this morning I'm excited to start taking the Rapid Action Steps he suggests and really start building a business with sustainable value. I have read a ton of business books & I normally always pick up a few points I can apply in my business. But I must say this book beyond all others has given me an endless supply of ideas & valuable action points.As an owner of an established business turning over a few million each year, I was looking for a book that would take me beyond the basics. This book really does this & I honestly believe applying all the 24 assets would result in at least tripling my turnover & profitability.Even if you are just starting out in business this would give you a valuable insight into how much graft is involved in making a business a real success. Even in my relatively established business it's now dawned on me how much work I still have to do. But that said, I'm not phased by it at all. This book has given me all the tools & knowledge I need to take things forward & I'm buzzing with excitement to get cracking on it & reap the rewards further down the line.Thank you Daniel for one of the most informative business books I've read in the last 10 years!

Amazing book, I felt like this took principles of the famous E-myth and applied it to developing your assets (which helps build a system) in a digital age. Wonderful!

Dan’s experience and insight is bar none. It’s an easy to apply book with many a return. I implemented these and many of the observations and assets I hadn’t thought of before. Definitely something I will recommend time and time again.

DENT is a great company. I am in their Accelerator now and the amazing thing is I don't ever need to think what the next step is.
