had one exactly the same and someone used detergent on it and turned it yellow. The warning on not to use anything other than ordinary soapy water should be more prominent. Otherwise very good.

I'll only buy these STA-TITE toilet seats now because they are so easy to install and once on, don't budge at all. Rock solid!Other plus-points, comfy, very smart (nice bold chrome hinges - that last) and good slow-close.The only niggle I have is with the finish. Even making sure you only use soapy water (really? Everyone wants to use something more sterile on a toilet seat!), it doesn't last and the paint eventually wears thin. I would expect more from a product at this price point. And DON'T close the seat if you put bleach in the bowl as it will discolour the underside and look like someone has peed all over it! I also think it's a bit of a stretch calling it "wooden" as it's made of wood fibres and resin - so it's a composite seat. That doesn't detract from all the plus points though!

Good product, although very delayed on delivery

Slow close mechanism won’t last long. Less than six months and it’s just stuck where you lifted it. It won’t drop though but you now have to push it back down.You can’t clean with bleach without damaging paint work.One star because it really won’t mive side to side

I liked this toilet seat it seamed to be of high quality although I only bought it september 2017 and by then end of 2018 it’s got a massive crack in it which is extremely disappointing. Warranty only lasts 1 year.

Qualité parfaite, matière lourde et robuste, charnières solides . Impression de qualité (qui explique le prix élevé, quand même...).Montage TRES facile: 5 entrées de vis permettent d'adapter la lunette aux orifices de la cuvette,selon l'écartement. La fixation et le serrage sont hyper faciles. Je ne comprends d'ailleurs pas bien les difficultés rencontrées par certains commentateurs. Je ne suis pas contorsionniste , mais pleine d'arthrose, mes toilettes sont d'une dimensions standard, et je suis arrivée à bout "du chantier" en quelques minutes, lecture du schéma comprise. Serais-je une surdouée du bricolage qui s'ignorait?
