Flip-Up 254mm Hawse Fairlead Mounted License Plate Holder Mount Bracket (Black)

Needed this to have a place to mount my front license plate so I would be legal in my state. Have one on both of my Suzuki Samurai's.

Purchased with the intention of modifying for my specific application. I am using this in combination of a hidden winch mount and hookless fairlead. The tabs were cut and new holes drilled to bring the plate closer to the fairlead. Also drilled new holes to utilize the existing screw holes in the bumper.

The screws that mount the flip up section have to be tightened so much so the mounted tag does not aim downward from the wind hitting it as you drive, that it becomes hard to move up and out of the way for winch use.

I installed this on my jeep wrangler with a Badland wench. It fits perfectly.

This is designed for flat fairlead and bumper mount. My bumper and fairlead plate is on a somewhat downward angle. I was able to make this license plate work with some modifications. I added washers with pivot screws to give the swivel some more tension. Then I had to grind down the back of the swivel points because they would of been hitting into my bumper.

This works great for adding a license plate to your winch bumper. I needed this for my Jeep because my state requires a front license plate. When I need to use the winch it’s easy to flip the plate up.
