I bought this to run off-grid in my shed, with a view to charging it up slowly using solar. It provides a great, simple, straight out of the box experience for providing power in this way without needing to get batteries, invertors, worry about wattages and power cable sizes, etc.The display shows power being used and estimated time left in the battery which is handy. It also has a load of different power output types including 12V (cigarette lighter socket), USB, USB-C and 240V sockets, obviously.It's is simple to use with press switches to turn each of the power output types on/off and the light on the back is bright and distributes across an area well.The one drawback it has, is that it is slow to charge from the supplied 12V AC/DC power adapter but that hasn't been a problem for me as I am using it until the batt level drops low and then carrying it back into the house to charge overnight. Also, if you are planning on using it with portable solar panels then they won't charge the box any faster anyway.For the price, this stacks up as a simple permanent solar solution on a shed or other off grid out building too. If you buy compatible panels you are good to go on a 240V AC off-grid solution.

This power station has enhanced our experience camping. It is so versatile, and great value. I would recommend Bohmer-AG eco power max for home use and also camping. Great in power cuts, swift charging and terrific power.

Loved this in the 1st few months but 8 months in it's started to have a few faults. The screen glitches, the 12v socket works on and off and the button or on/off working! NO reply from seller and Amazon are sending me round the houses . Surely after spending £500+ on this item I must have some kinda guarantee

Nice looking generator about size of standard toaster and very useful.Very portable and great at charging phones, game console and 32inch tv tv. On full charge could get nearly a few hours over 2 evening's tv.

I do like this Power Station, you have everything you need on the display, works great on my 50"TV I get around 4.5 hours running time.Only negative is the amount of time to charge back up from 0%. 9 hours via its charger in a plug socket. 4 hours would be acceptable.

This kept us going when camping all over Europe recently. We used it to keep our electric coolbox going when we had no EHU and I could use my hairdryer with it. Kept our phones charged up overbought too. Great to use instead of our leisure battery, as we were always worried it would flatten it. Now, we just use leisure battery as a back up. We could also recharge it when travelling when we plugged it into 12v as we have a battery to battery charger so kept it fully charged. We’re very pleased with it.

I have used this for an outdoor cinema screening with two 200w speakers, laptop and projector and it barely made a dent. Great bit of kit
