Marcy SM-1050 Smith Machine Squat Power Rack Multi Gym (Weight Bench of 270kg Weight Capacity)

Relatively easy to assemble.. did it on my own ... although it recommends two people.Very sturdy piece of kit.. works very well.. the good thing is if you don’t keep the barbell horizontal as you push up it can get stiff on one side.. so this actually helps you train both sides of your body equally working your weaker arm/shoulder unlike gym Smith machines.. for me it works better in that respect.. the curl and leg pads work very well too. The bench is very good in relation to the incline positions too.Well worth the money and I would recommend to anyone if they are serious about their weights!!!

I have had this gym for about 18 months,and have had great work outs on it. I recommend this for a garage gym,easy to put together,did this on my own. The only drawback is if your doing heavy squats the frame does lift,I laid some gravel bags over the bottom of the frame😁.

It's really badly designed as most home gym equipment is. This should of been £200 not £350. Firstly, I had to drill one of holes in the frame because it didn't line up with the hole on the other side of frame. I had to swap two of the coach bolts out because the square lug on the bolts wouldn't grip in the square hole and decided to spin and turn the square hole into a round hole and because of the nylon washers in the nut, tightened up so much the bolts just spin in the holes. Had to replace with bolts with Allen key slots so I could tighten them up. you have to put a ton of weight on the frame to stop it from sliding around. The front feet do not protrude far enough forward and when the weighted bar is at the top of the machine feels like it's going to topple over. Its also a hollow barbell bar which looks and feels flimsy. Marcey pride themselves on their super smooth bushings which are just plastic inserts.. Then the bar at the lower back part of the frame stops the bench from going far enough back to use the incline bench comfortably as a result you feel squashed up against the bar. Just really badly designed. Thinking of sending it back.. oh and the feet are so small there's no room to drill holes so you could bolt it to the floor..

Produit home gym globalement mal conçu.Points positif :- Le banc semble de qualité, avec un beau cuir- La structure en acier de la machine est plutôt sympa, un beau noir profond- Prend relativement peu de placePoints négatifs :- Le patin en caoutchouc sous les poignées curl est trop epais et vient taper sur la structure avant même l'extension à 180° des Coudes. Ne permet donc pas un curl à amplitude complète- Les structures roulis des barres verticales guidées ont un gros jeu de plusieurs millimètres, ce qui fait que si vous ne poussez pas de manière parfaitement équilibrée à la verticale, les caoutchouc de ces roulis viendront freiner la barre !! Très contraignant, si ce n'est pas rédhibitoire.- La structure acier n'est pas équilibrée en poids ! Si vous faites un Squat avez les pieds légèrement vers l'avant, la structure se lève carrément ! Il aurait été utile de mettre un range poids à l'avant pour équilibrer ceux à l'arrière.- A la limite, pour compenser cela, on se dit "ben y'a qu'à fixer la structure au sol". Ouais, sauf que les concepteurs n'y ont pas pensés.. Les pieds plats ne sont pas percés et trop petits pour le faire à leur place.Conclusion :Même pour 600€, ce qui est globalement 2* inférieur aux prix de ce genre de machine, ça fait très cher pour une structure déséquilibrée et aux finitions bâclées, et avec du jeu sur le guide.

El aparato se ve robusto, pero tiene algunos errores de diseño, por ejemplo para usar el curl de piernas para cuádriceps hay que hacerlo descalzo ya que si no te pegan los pies en las patas del aparato, por lo demás contento con él
