Dreamcatcher Double Electric Blanket, Fully Fitted, Dual Control

Really pleased with this electric blanket. I was still using it in March when it was chilly in the mornings and evenings after it had been sunny in the day. It saved putting the heating on. I only use Level 3 and that’s definitely warm enough for me. I’ve positioned mine under a slightly padded duvet protector and obviously the top bed sheet. I absolutely love the design of this heated blanket as there;s no faffing about with running straps and cords under the mattress. They’re difficult and a pain if you’ve got a heavy mattress. This one fits like a fitted mattress with the stretchy skirt. Brilliant because it stays firmly in place and doesn’t move about and get ruffled up under the bed sheet like the strapped ones. Really don’t know who/why anyone would by the strapped ones to be honest. This design is far superior. The heat distribution is even, apart from about 1.5 inches round the edges. I’m 5ft 9” and it heats up right down to my feet. It doesn’t heat under the pillow area. I also think the dual control feature is a complete game-changer. You and your partner now can choose when you have the blanket on. I have my side on way more than my hubby. I love a warm bed to get in to probably about 8 months of the year 😂. With dual controls I can heat my side whenever I want. The lead comes from just below the pillow area on each side, and its not under you at all. It’s in a position that doesn’t poke you in the top of the arm, so you don’t know its there. You do need a plug socket available each side of the bed for the dual contols. This heated blanket also has a very deep side skirt on it which is stretchy and even fits our VERY deep Tempur mattress. Really impressed with my purchase. Love its flexibility of heating one side or both sides of the bed and how securely it sits under the sheet. Loving my cosy toasty warm bed now. So yummy to put on in the morning on days I stay in bed for a bit reading a book. Got it on a deal price of £35 for a King. Highly recommend.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago, and have to say I am extremely happy with the blanket. Bought a king size dual control one, and was very iimpressed with the fitted skirt design. Really good size and fit on my deep mattress, the skirt completely covered the depth and tucked under mattress. After previously having an electric blanket with the dreaded string fastenings, which got tangled when washing and very difficult to undo knots, this blanket will be a dream to launder. I personally put it on number 3 setting for about 15 to 20 minutes before going to bed, and its lovely and toasty to get into bed. Even after I have turned it off it seems to retain the heat for quite a while. Would definitely recommend purchasing.

Bought to replace our existing blanket as we needed one with this style of control that would allow us to turn them on and off via an Alexa plug and routines. Three heat settings and dual control work perfectly for us as I prefer my side warmer. It doesn't get quite as hot as my old blanket, but that's a good thing as this sits at just the right temperature to heat you up without you starting to feel like you're being cooked alive. Fits the mattress well and hasn't moved in the 6 weeks we've had it. The connection for the controls sitting under the pillow is a very welcome benefit, rather than getting in the way at shoulder height like most others. It's comfortable and I don't really feel the wires unless I'm deliberately looking for them, but you can technically feel them a little. My old blanket had a fleece top that meant you couldn't feel them at all, but these are barely noticeable and not an issue. There was no smell on first use or anything like that. They've done the job and work really well. Very happy for the price.

My old blanket stopped working and was in need of replacement. This blanket is very similar except that the controller is no longer permanently attached. It can be removed allowing the blanket to be washed. Another marginal difference is that the attachment of wires is now closer to my head, entering at the level of the pillows. I specifically did not want any fancy features such as feet and body zones, timers, lots of settings etc. This is because I don't need them and they tend to be associated with blankets that cannot be controlled by smart switch. This blanket simply has three settings. I use number 3 to heat the bed and number one when I am in the bed. Once the blanket is switched to a certain setting it stays there. For example If the blanket is disconnected from the mains when it switched on number 3 if it is then reconnected the blanket will be be working on number 3. This behavior makes it suitable for smart switch control. I use a smart switch in the following way - my smart switch is off during the day but the blanket is left on setting 3. In the evening my smart switch switches on in time to warm up the blanket before I go to bed. When I go to bed I switch the blanked to number 1. The smart switch switches off the power to the blanket in the early hours. When I get up in the morning there is no power going to the blanket but I change the switch to number 3 in readiness for the following evening. Issues: Can I feel the wires ? I can feel the wires if I try but I am unaware of them when I go to bed. Does the blanket heat up evenly and over a reasonable area ? Yes and yes. Can I feel the wire entry point ? This is under my pillow and I cannot feel it in normal use. Does it get hot enough ? I usually have the blanket on and hour or so before I get into bed. It is amply warm enough. Overnight it is too hot if left on any setting but 1.

Quality and good fit.

Very good electric blanket. I wish i had bought it earlier rather than suffer cold feet in bed! It heats up quickly and has two separates heated sides for two people in double bed offering a choice of on or off and also separate variable settings. I can not feel the wires when i lie on it. It is designed to be on all night if needed. Very good for back pain sufferers! No more hot water bottles risking leak and burning skin. This blanket is excellent value for money. I am pleased with it and hoping it will last a long time. Its electricity consumption is not bad at all!

I have had this for a few weeks and I do like the elasticated sides which fit round and under the mattress. It heats up quite quickly but does cool down quickly too. It also has a large area at both ends that doesn't have the heating wires so they stay cold - they could do with being longer to heat the feet end.

Wat een tegenvaller is dat er Engelse stekkers aan zitten. Daar heb je in Nederland niets aan. Heb dus twee verloop stekkers moeten bestellen en dat maak inclusief verzend kosten mijn deken 15 euro duurder. Wat ik amazone het meest kwalijk neem is dat ditbniet op de website vermeld wordt bij de product omschrijving.

Really good value

Best thing I ever bought, it is so cosy and I've been sleeping much better the last couple of nights. I like that you can control the right and left side separately too and the sheet is extremely deep so no worry if it coming off if you move a lot in your sleep.
