Nice and Sharp
Smaller cutters go right through 2/0 cable no problem and larger work great on 4/0. Very happy with them. Smaller cutters seem like the same exact as the MAC ones I had previously

Cuts up to 4/0 copper cable
The tool itself was light weight, but could cut 4/0 copper wire nicely.

Very Dull
These do not cut braided hoses at all. They are not sharp enough to cut. Do not waste your money like I did. By a quality tool. I sharpened them and still trash.

Solid build, but struggles with thicker cables
I bought these Cable Cutters to help with some DIY work around the house and in the garden. I needed something strong enough to handle various cables, especially thicker aluminium and copper wires. The size and heavy-duty description made this one seem like a good choice, and I figured it would save me from having to use a hacksaw or other awkward tools. The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the box was how sturdy it felt. It’s got a good weight to it, which gave me confidence that it could handle tough jobs. The grips are comfortable, and the long handles make it easy to get some leverage when cutting through cables. For smaller cables and wires, it works brilliantly. I’ve used it on communications cables and thinner copper wires, and it cuts through them cleanly without much effort. However, when I tried it on thicker aluminium and copper cables, it didn’t perform quite as well as I expected. While it eventually cut through, I had to use a lot more force than I thought I would, and the result wasn’t always the cleanest cut. It tends to flatten the cable a bit before slicing through, which isn’t ideal if you’re looking for a precise, tidy finish. I was hoping it would handle the thicker cables more easily given the size and the heavy-duty label, but it’s clear that it’s better suited for lighter work.On the plus side, it’s a solid, well-made tool, and it doesn’t feel flimsy in the slightest. It should last a long time if used within its limits. It’s also a decent option for smaller household tasks or when dealing with softer, thinner cables. But if you’re working with thicker wires on a regular basis, you may need to look for something more specialised or heavier duty.Overall, it’s a decent tool for basic jobs, but don’t expect it to cut through everything without a bit of elbow grease.

Pretty nice cutters
The smaller cutters work great for cutting small and medium wire cables. These can handle even larger wire cables, but not to be used on hardened cables and wire. The big cutters are great for large wire cables and copper pipe up to about 1/2" diameter. Would do the same job on aluminum hollow tube as well. Happy so far with the tools
