Thats exactly why there is a BEC on the ESC, so you dont need a 6V battery for the receiver. **Q: What gauge is the wire on the receiver?** A: The wires to and from the receiver are basically signal wires. It feels good in the hand and wheel and trigger have the right feedback. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great budget rc radio system *by T***R on 17 October 2021* This feels much more robust than I expected it to at this price and has all the necessary trim adjustments for my rc car. It was easy to install the receiver into the car, and although the binding instructions are a little tricky to understand, videos on YouTube showed how to do and it connected with no problem. I haven’t measured the range but have driven the car further than I would ever need to and had no problems with the signal cutting out.
