I got these for mountain biking but they’re nice and thin and the compression is very comfortable. I ended up using them for hockey as well and felt even better than expected. So great I bought another pair. Comfy and practical trail running socks, but they ripped at the big toe (both socks) after 2 races. I'll admit they were tough runs (Spartan Super and Beast), but it's disappointing to have to buy new socks so frequently.

I just started realizing how important socks are for a run. I love these so much i want to marry them. The last race I ran everything was sore besides my calves.

These are too thin based on the last Merrell compression running socks I purchased. I will go to the retail store and buy the ones like I got before.

Although these Merrell compression socks are marketed as "Hiker" socks, I wear these type of socks because my feet and lower legs tend to fatigue easier as I age. Compression socks help my legs and feet feel better when taking longer walks or standing on my feet for long periods of time.I wear a women's size 6 shoe and ordered the black/pink socks in the small/medium size. They fit my foot well with only a tiny bit of fabric bunching that made no difference in performance. I have worn the socks when standing on my feet for long periods, and they definitely keep my legs and feet more comfortable.The compression on these is lighter than some other brands that I have, but they work well for my needs. I washed them on cold before wearing and let them air dry - there was no shrinkage noted. My feet can sometimes sweat in certain materials, but these socks kept my feet dry all day. For lighter duty activities or someone who prefers lighter compression socks, these would be a good choice. Recommend.

I ordered these for a Spartan race and they kept my legs warm (was a cold race!) and stayed up the whole time. No blisters and were appropriately snug.

Great socks but the top by the seam is a weak point so they ripped the 4th time I put them on. Disappointed to say the least
