90Pcs Grow Sponges and Baskets for Hydroponic Growing System, Indoor Plants Hydroponics Supplies Compatible with Idoo LYKO(Square)

Decided to start growing using aquaponics, these were exactly what I needed.

Within 30 hours, I already had seeds germinating. These are as good if not better than the originals that came with my growing system.

I use these to start my seedlings.

I have ordered these pods twice now and will order them again as soon as I go through the new box. The hole in the pod is deep enough to get 90% of the seeds in completely (Beans and other large seeds go halfway in but grow perfectly) but not to deep for the seeds to miss out on the proper amount of light needed. These pods swell up with the absorption of water and keep the perfect amount of moister at the seeds. I have simply transplanted the entire pod into my garden or planter and it has never caused any problems with growth.

I think every other IDOO model needs the cone baskets and sponges. I have the 7, which these fit. These are useable for the price paid, but they are slightly smaller and not as good as the IDOO branded sponges. They float and do not soak up the water as well. The tops dry out, and my seedlings have not grown as fast as they have with the IDOO sponges. I have also noticed white spores on these. I have used up all of the IDOO sponges I had and never had mold or spores on them. I'm debating whether I should just use these up or throw the rest of them away. I will probably just use them up unless more have mold on them.

I needed replacements for my qyo aero Garden seed pods cause I had run through them because I use it a lot and I enjoy it. I found these and I like that they provide so many at an inexpensive cost the thing that I don’t like about these is that when you use them and pot the starter plants, they can’t spread their roots through the bottom so I do crisscross cut them at the bottom so the roots can expand out. I wish they came that way in general on all seed pods but they don’t. Otherwise they work fine.

Love these, I have a hydroponic unit (Agrestem) it takes these square plugs not the long skinny cones for Aerogarden. This fit perfect, loved the fact I could come with the holders. This gives me more flexibility to root in these and then transfer to a bigger buckets or system. Recommend, great price too!

Good for what I needed it for

Je ne les ai pas utilisé, c’est supposé être des paniers carrés comme sur les photos et dans le texte, mais ce sont des paniers ronds. Je croyais que c’était une erreur mais non le vendeur m’a dit qu’ils étaient tous ronds.

They fit quite well in the Hommie grow system. I am thankful for that as it cost quite a bit as there are so many of them and they come from the US so there is a bit of a wait. I really didn't need 50 and its a shame they are not available here.
