Really like this product, the ice is really nice and lasts for ages! I got at least 2 hours out of the first sphere.. A top tip for more bang for buck! After you take out the mould, you'll find the bottom of the insulated tray full of ice. Pull the inner plastic tub out of the insulation and place it in hot water for a few minutes. Turn it over and the ice should fall out. You will then see some grooves made by the inside of the plastic tray, makes it easy to make 3 more tooth shaped Ice, err, teeth! :)Enjoy!

Works perfectly - amazing results. Nicely constructed with good quality materials. Once your new frozen ice balls have been made and extracted, do remember to let the ice remaining in the case (underneath the silicon mould) to thaw (or use some hot water to accelerate the process) ready for the next batch. This might be my best purchase of the year.

No manul in the box, how to use it?

I've used a variety of ice ball molds, and they've all produced slightly cloudy ice. This one actually works! The ice balls come out crystal clear.The outer layer is insulating styrofoam, into which you slide the mold. The mold has a reservoir at the bottom which is insulated by the styrofoam so that it freezes more slowly than the top of the mold where the ball shape is located. This causes the impurities in the water that cause cloudiness to be "pushed" to the bottom as the water freezes from the top down. Because of the insulation process takes a while - about 24 hours in my experience - but the end result is perfectly clear ice.

Having been tempted by cheaper models and subsequently being let down by the quality i finally splasged out on this device. Im so gladd i did it produces crystal clear ice time and time again i leave mine for 24 hours and they come out perfect they look amazing in my new found love for manhattans and thaw over a very long time resulting in far superior looking and tasting drinks. If your serious about your ice this is the one for you far cheaper then wintersmiths but deffo of the same build quality i honestly cant believe it doesnt have more reviews on it get one you wont be dissapointed !

Drei 5 Sterne Bewertungen haben mich neugierig gemacht, ob der Ice Ball Maker wirklich klare Kugeln erzeugen kann.Nicht ganz günstig und dann auch nur für zwei Kugeln. Trotzdem gekauft.Teile wirken nicht billig, sind sauber gefertigt und riechen nicht (meine zumindest).Warmes Wasser rein und in die -18° kalte Gefriertruhe gestellt. 48h warten.Nach dem Öffnen liegen zwei schöne Kugeln vor. Trenngrat der Form ist zwar spür- und sichtbar,aber nicht groß. Für mich nicht störend, da habe ich mit anderen Formen sehr viel schlechtere Erfahrungen gesammelt.Die Bilder sind nicht besonders gut und ich musste die Kugel mit der Hand etwas anwärmen, dass man sieht, dasssie tatsächlich klar ist.Wer sein Getränk im Sommer mit einer klaren Eiskugel genießen will und keine Handstände beim Einfrieren machen will,der sollte dieses Teil unbedingt ausprobieren.Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.
