I am really happy with the quality and size of this plant. When it arrived I could see that someone has been trimming it heavily to keep it small and compact with densely packed branches, but the trunk was almost an inch thick, so it clearly is quite mature. Shortly after arrival it burst into flower and was literally covered. Sadly I think it was just too much and none of the fruit set. Since then I have been allowing the branches to grow out so that I can start to train out into a large more open shape which will be more conducive to fruit formation. The branches have already grown about 2 ft which is impressive, but may have something to do with the fact that I repotted it into a large pot.

Ordered the plant following watching a TV programme where chefs were talking about the finger lime, had read on the internet if grown from seed it would be many years before it fruited. Was delighted to find that it arrived with one large finger lime allready on it , proving that I can hope for more fruit in the immediate forthcoming years . Healthy plant as described and arrived with a free food and good instructions as to how to care for it

It has taken off nicely with new branches growing out.
