Doesn't cut wire
Worst pair of wire cutters ever used, wouldn't even cut through the bike brake cable, a pair of nail clippers would of been better to use 😑

Wire cutters made of steel, not 'steel wire' cutters
I've used these type of cutters for years, but the title is misleading, these do not cut steel wire, if you do they will be ruined. They are great for cutting and stripping electrical cable, you can also cut brass screws up to 4mm with ease.If you want to cut solid steel wire your better off with bolt cutters, if you want to cut brake cables you want wire rope cutters.

Heavy duty wire cutters
If you are in need of heavy duty wire cutters for cutting through wire such as mig welding wire then these should do just fine. If there is one thing Silverline are good for and that's well built tools. As you cut, the handles do tighten, which is a plus because it allows you to gain a better grip without them flying open. The only fault I have is Silverline tend to over oil there tools to much so you will have to spend a good few minutes removing the access oil. This is only needed mind if your cutting welding wire or similar because your weld needs to be thoughly clean. Be sure to keep the oil on if you're just cutting fencing, etc as your need to protect against rust with outdoor use.

Excellent Value
I bought these because they were cheap and wouldn't be too much of a waste of money if they were no good. I had seen others on various sites that were a lot more expensive. When they arrived I tried them out and they were excellent. They cut through the wire fencing I was removing without any problem.Would easily recommend.

Lasted 3 Cuts - Useless
I bought these to change gear cables and outers on a bike, by the time used them 3 time to cut thin gear cable and two cable outers they wouldn't work a 4th time to cut a gear cable and the cutting blade was pitted.

Malo
Acero de mala calidad, débil, no aguanta cortar un clavo de hierro, se mella.! Se supone que deberia poder cortar hierro!

Selten so nen Schrott gesehen...
Aus der Produktbeschreibung: "Max. Schnittleistung: 6 mm"Mein Anwendungsfall: 3mm dickes Drahtseil schneidenErgebnis: selbst mit 2 Händen nix zu machen... Also 2 Ringschlüssel als Hebel-Verlängerung angesetzt, ebenso keine Chance. Kein einziger Draht abgetrennt.Wer solchen herstellt schneidet wohl auch Stahlträger mitm Küchenmesser...
