Taste like childhood.
It taste incredible, just like the real deal, i know keeping one extra package in the cabinet in case i need it, it has a long shelf life, so its a little thing that makes me happy. tastes great just like the traditional Manju filling i had once i was a child.

My son was super into the Japanese culture and wanted to make mochie cakes and required this ingredient. It worked perfect for our recipe!

Fine
It was fine… I bought this for sesame balls and it was fine. I didn’t think that it had much flavor, but other than that it was fine.

Tasted just like it should
For those that are not acquainted, bean paste is commonly used in Asian desserts as a filling. It takes a little getting used to if you're expecting frosting because it definitely does not taste like frosting or super-sweet western fillings. However, it IS quite tasty, not overpowering in its sweetness, and has fiber and protein, so a good trade and something a little different. This paste is perfect in that it tastes as it should, is ready made, and easy to use. I used it to make taiyaki. I just cut a corner of the bag and squeezed out the portion I needed each time like using a piping bag.

Great product I love it
I have ordered this red bean paste several times because I love it so much. Great consistency, flavor, and appropriate level of sweetness. I love it in desserts and also by itself.

Convenient Sweets Quickly Shipped
It's convenient filling that I don't have to make that came within the next day. It is much sweeter than homemade recipes but better than other pre-made bags available (not as artificial tasting). Its consistency is a smooth but sticky paste that can be hard to spread with a knife. Refrigerate beforehand to make it easy to pipe. Each pack is enough filling for 24 mooncakes or 16 croissants from the can if that is a good reference point. Each pack comes similar to what was imaged but also wrapped in additional plastic within the Amazon package. They each had their own beyond-use date/expiration date. I mean, they do have the cancer warning label, but I'm willing to risk it compared to all the worse things I have consumed in life.

bad taste and texture.
This came in very liquid compared to the name brand from Japan and took a week of sitting in the fridge to get close to usable (picture 2). When I tasted some it tasted like there was stevia or artificial sweetener in it, nasty chemical back taste). When I checked the back of the bag it said there was 43% sugar. (pic 1 is a side by side of this and the name brand. The name brand is 17%. This is un-usable and tastes bad.
