The quality of the product is sturdy and the toy response to the remote signal is quick. The electric motor on the toy is powerful enough to make quick maneuvers on both carpet and wooden floors. It requires a 4AA battery on the vehicle and 2 on the remote. So far played it around 25-30 times and haven’t noticed any drop in performance against the battery. Happy with the purchase. Perfect gift for kids.

This is Hugh (Carols Hubby) The truck is powered by AA batteries, as is the cheap remote controler. Only runs well on flat hard surface's. Not fast and not powerful. The remote has no wheel for steering. So it's "all or nothing" as far as the steering goes. For a 10 dollar RC Truck it's ok I guess (for a 5 or 6 year old) If your not expecting much, you might be satisfied. Definitely a toy for a very young child. It is what it is.

This was not bad for the price, but not very powerful in the back yard. It works great indoors and has decent range. If you can get it on sale it is not a bad toy for the money. It buzzes around with ease on a smooth surface and does decent on carpet. The plastic seems to be decent quality and so far has held up well ramming various barriers and Lego walls. I like the looks of it also and I think it will last if not abused to much! I wound buy it again if needed.

We got this for my 5 year old son as a Christmas present and he absolutely loves it! Easy to drive and hours of fun!

This was one of the lighting/ pre- black Friday deals. It was a great price so I grabbed it. I can see now why it was such a discount. If it was for me, I wouldn't care along as it worked. But, being for a Christmas gift I'm as of yet undecided whether to send it back. The brown shipping box was in perfect condition. I wouldn't be sour if the description just said box damaged- It was sold by Amazon!

Got this for a friend's kid and he absolutely loves it! Works well and seems to be holding up well.

I purchased these to enjoy some fun time with my grandson and what a trip. Played in the park next door and raced until we ran out of power. Comes with 2 batteries and they last pretty long, about 20-30min. each. Probably will get more batteries so we can play longer. They go really fast and the contollers are spot on! Would recommend these to all kids at heart!! Have fun!!

Bought it for my kids. Trying to teach them to learn basic of how driving works (7 and 10 yr old). Bought them another car (that can go upside down and sideways and all. Absolute useless. They get tired of it in time my BMW goes 0 - 60miles per hour on road). This one is big, so you have to control it , you can't just bang it anywhere all the time (you just know intuitively it will break...even though my kids still do, so it can take some beatings). We setup different chairs around and they try to navigate through the make do maze. Its been ~a week ... they still playing with it. $20 bought me 20 min of sanity - I will say that's a good deal. The remote is nice size, not super dinky. The antenna is weird. Its super long flimsy wire, and then a tube goes on top and a little flimsy wire sticks out (you can see it in pic)... its fine.... just too long and weird. You won't loose it at least. Do use rechargeable batteries (4xAA) - i don't see it being too useful with 1-time use batteries.
