Skip Hop Explore and More Roll Around Toy, Hedgehog

I bought this for my 3.5 month old. He loved it straight away, found it engaging and really helped his grabbing skills come on, I think because of different holes it means they can pretty much get a good hold anywhere. The only downside is the hedgehog head is quite heavy so biffs himself in the face sometimes, but he doesn’t seem to mind. I like it as it’s gender neutral, so many toys are unnecessarily gendered.

My 3 month old baby loves this hedgehog, in fact it is his favourite toy. The holes allow babies to work on their fine motor skills, practising gripping and holding objects. The red spikey bit at the top is a brilliant teether and the rattle provides even more sensory fun. Can’t recommend this toy enough.

This is a big hit with our granddaughter. It has a lovely rattle and has a wobbly roll due to the heavier base. She also loved chewing on the yellow bar around his front. The big holes makes it easy to hold and manoevre.

I bought this for our baby when she was about five months old. She’s now nine months old and has never really shown any interest in it at all. The “spikes” are meant to be good for teething but this is pretty much the only toy that she has never wanted to put in her mouth. She doesn’t explore the beads on the front and she doesn’t even seem to particularly enjoy holding it and manipulating it in her hands. The hard plastic bar on the front makes an almighty crash when she throws it on the floor in an outburst of frustration!Overall it’s been of absolutely no use to us. It seems to be well made, but I wouldn’t recommend it.Edit: baby number two loves this hedgehog and will quite happily sit and fiddle with the beads in the bouncer for a few minutes. He’s had it since birth and is now at nine months becoming less interested in it

Our 3 month old is just starting reaching out and grabbing toys and putting them in his mouth. This is easy for him to hold and keeps him entertained.

She likes it smile to it and shake it, she really have fun with it, great choice and quality. Can recommend. Using already more than 6 months and is still in very good conidition

This is ok I have to say this isn’t my baby’s favorite toy nor is it mine. I was quite surprised how hard it is so I find myself always quite wary of leaving my baby for any long period of time with it, especially when he’s throwing toys and sometimes smacking himself in the face. This is not a nice toy to have smacked in your face- speaking from experience!

This is the 3rd time I have bought this item. All have been gifts either for newborns, christenings or Christmas. I’ve always found Skiphop products to be well made, brightly coloured and this in particular is suitably interesting to engage young babies. Very positive feedback from the parents, and I can fully recommend!

Super bonita sonaja!! Mis bebés de 4 meses la adoran.. de hecho es el único juguete por el que se han peleado. La pelotita sonaja está muy bien hecha, me la imaginaba ligeramente más grande pero está del tamaño perfecto para los bebés, hace un ruido muy simpático que les llama mucho la atención, mientras aprenden a gatear intentan alcanzarla y además les ayuda para practicar el agarre de sus manitas y también la usan de mordedera. En cuanto haya más disponibles comprare otra.

My son loves playing with this. Its perfect for him to grip and shake. He's 5 months old and has been paying with it for a couple months now.

Habe es jetzt schon zwei mal zur Geburt verschenkt. Das Thema war Fuchs, daher passte es ganz gut. Das Material ist weich und macht daher keine störenden Geräusche. Ich würde es wieder kaufen, daher klare Kaufempfehlung
