I'm pleased with the quality of the cable. Thick and solid, with a red line on one of the two conductor, simplifing the proper polarity connection bewteen amplifier and loudspeakers. If you need to run cables over a certain length, 14 AWG (American Wire Gauge) will give you a significant advantage over e.g. "typical" 18 AWG.A 14 AGW cable has "only" 8.286 mO (milli-Ohm) per meter resistance while 18 AWG has 20.95 mO per meter, which is 2.5 times more.You can find clear explanations on internet (e.g.search for roger-russel wire) of why the lower the AWG the better it is. No need to waste money in something that may seem "cooleer" but as a worst loss figure. I found that currently, price / performance curve has its knee at 14 (lower AWG is difficult to find and probably you don't need it, 'cause above a certain cable length it's no more only a matter of attenuation).

Good quality cable, fine supple strands of copper wire, I had been running my tower speakers with the cheap cable they came with for a little while, BUT wow, the difference after connecting them with this cable was unbelievable, the low end (bass) became much richer and clearer without the drag (that you usually get with cheap thin cable) and the high end is now much clearer as well,I am getting a second set of tower speakers soon and will definitely be connecting them with more of this cable, well worth the price,

After five months this wire turned to white powder and now in the rubbish bin.

Easy to strip and flexible

Sounds good to me. Can't see the need for anything more expensive! Marantz PM6005 amp is probably reason for good sound, these just pass on the message to the speakers efficiently.

Very thick audio grade cable that should improve the performance of most speakers that are not currently connected by one of the specialist, and very expensive, branded alternatives. Mine were connected by something resembling bell wire and which breaks at the slightest tug - one reason why I wish to replace it.However, as a minor word of warning, it may be just too thick for the connectors on some amplifiers or receivers and for some speakers. There is a thinner 18 SWG version that should work in those situations, and almost as well.

bought to rewire my living room for surround sound speakers, we had replaced our floor with oak flooring so wanted to hide the cabling before installing the skirtings. this cable does exactly what i wanted.. only criticism would be that it is a bit of pain to strip... (ok I use my teeth) so had to get out a wire stripping tool which did struggle a bit.. on plus side the sheething will definitely protect the cable !!

electrosmart 20m Quality 14AWG, great cable, good price, done the job well, used this many times ,can't go wrong.
