Fun game for younger children
My 2 (nearly 3) year old loves this. There isn't really any skill involved and it is luck (literally a roll of the dice). The general concept is you go round the board picking up straw, sticks and bricks pieces. You need to collect 2 material of each to make the relevant 3D house. Once you have build all 3 houses you race to the middle. To make it more intresting you can also land on a wolf icon, where you can blow down other players stick and straw houses.Well made and have used it many times. I would definitely recommend.

Great game, price increased too much.
I paid £3.96 for this game in 2016, I was going to purchase it for a friend but at that price I don't think I will. Its not big, its card board that does fray with use.

It's safe to say that this is every bit as good as the Shopping Game
This is our second Orchard Toys purchase - the last was Shopping List. That was a huge hit with my now 3 and half year old. We got this and the Ladybird game for her Xmas as a new shopping list game was top of her santa list! It's safe to say that this is every bit as good as the Shopping Game. Even my 10 and 8 year old sons get into it - probably because there is the opportunity to take parts from other players! It's nice and simple to assemble and due to the fact you can get pieces from other players, it keeps attention all the way to the end. It doesn't last too long but there are many requests in our house to then play it again several times. This is definitely worth the purchase. I think the 3D element is also good - my little one easily manages to slot the houses together and it's very sturdy - will easily to stand up to wear and tear. A definite recommendation :-)

Fun game for young children
My grandson is 4 years old and ready for board games after looking around I decided on this one.The board itself is a large jigsaw which needs assembling first. The game is simple to play you throw a dice and move around collecting houses as you go. If a player lands on a wolf you spin the spinner and huff and puff and try to blow the house down. The first player to collect all their houses and get safely to the middle of the board wins. This is a load of fun and it’s a game my grandson can play without help it also makes counting fun.

Wonderful
Wonderful! Great fun for the kids. My daughter loves it. Just takes a bit to explain the rules but once she got them, it’s endless fun!

Perfect present for preschoolers
Our child loves this game. Good quality material, great fit with the story, and with educational value: counting, taking turns, getting over the frustration of losing a piece from time to time and experiencing the joy of gaining it back. Great fun, lots of age appropriate action, it doesn’t get boring.

I'll huff and I'll puff until I win!!
Such a fun game! Just like the story and easily played by a 3 year old and family together. Roll the dice, land on squares to build your straw, brick or stick house then on certain squares you get to flick the spinner and see which house you can blow down - I seemed to get mine blown down first - tactical and cheeky playing! The person who wins has all their buildings intact and has got to the middle point with an exact roll of the dice! All in all good fun for all ages. Not too long a game either so attention isn't lost. Good quality thick cardboard pieces too so should last a long long time!

great quality pieces for the price and nice and easy ...
Brought this for my 3 year old daughter, she loves the old fashioned stories and recognised the 3 little pigs straight away, great quality pieces for the price and nice and easy to play. the places are clearly marked for her counting! great good all round family beginners board game, ( 1st time my 10 year old and 3 year old have played together - bliss!)would recommend this game!Only negative I have is that the little plastic pieces that hold the space movers are really difficult to prise open alone, but once in they are fine - unless your three year old takes them out again lol
