Goldenseal Root capsules I've taken this herb for decades its something we always have in, as it's one of the best herbs to help you fight of a cold, flu or even Covid. Example beginning of January this year my partner and I came down with Covid-19. We were lucky as we where just in bed for 2 weeks. But even my other half (who thinks everything that's not from the doctors or chemist is a waste of money) not only was happy to take these but actually told people that herbs I'd given him had really helped him get over being ill. These work best being taken with vit c and zinc. I find they are best if you start taking when you first feel the start of say a cold. Keep taking a few days after your cold has gone but don't take just in case. They work to help your body fight of an infection.

Really helps clear sinus & excess mucus, along with healthy diet etc.

Useful Especially as Goldenseal is No Longer Available in Tincture Form. As a Herbalist Practitioner of 10+ years I can recommend these as a general herbal antibiotic which I use together with Echinacea Angustifolia.

Hi sorry to say that I normally open the capsule and put in water, this make was dead in the water no taste strange

I have some recurring tooth pain on one side according to a recent tooth x-ray I have a little bit of infection above a couple of teeth. I got this for it's natural antibiotic properties and have taken a couple everyday for a couple of weeks. Could be coincident but the pain has subsided in the time and now just hanging on until my dentist can fit me in and get the issues sorted. Capsules are totally sealed but they do have a slightly 'agricultural' taste but nothing unpleasant.

Does what it says on the tin

I have suffered with blocked tearducts from time to time over the years and was recommended Goldenseal to try rather than surgery to remove and replace them that was suggested. They always work in clearing the blockage after taking them for a week or so. I now have them occasionally to try and avoid another blockage from forming.

My own fault. I was sick when purchasing it and didn't even read it properly and didn't realise there was gelatin in it, something I won't consume. It's only the outer tablet shell and I could empty the contents into water and drink them but unlikely I'd be bothered so I'll just buy more elsewhere. Unfortunately already opened so unable to return. Hopefully I can give them away.

Before I was able to prepare for any kind of cold weather type of illnesses, "right out of the gate," I ended up getting pnamonina in late September. Even though I was unsure if any of my supplies, once ordered and received, would be effective, after experiencing 6 weeks of the worst part of my illness had passed, I purchased my cold weather illness supplies anyway. I have been using Goldenseal to aid toward combating 'mucus' along with strengthing the immune system each winter season since about 1989. This particular item, specifically is Goldenseal Root, which comes within a capsule formed pill. I feel the size of the pill is a bit large, yet, I have been able to swallow each supplement easily enough when taken individually. I began using Goldenseal regularly (along with Echinaeca) every cold and flu season (approximate length of usage time is about 4 months out of each year - per instructions) after reading about the possible effectiveness of this supplement. I feel whenever I went without the use of these supplements, I found myself becoming sick more frequently along with my recovery time taking longer than if I used this supplement. I am not a medical professional, thus I am unable to recommend the use of this product as well, it is best to consult your personal doctor prior to adding or using any new supplement or medication. For myself, I will continue to purchase these specific supplements because I have found this particular brand, supplement type (Goldenseal Root) to be a good quality for the price. In other words, it works well for me, I have been happy with the use of this product and will purchase again in the future when a refill is necessary.

This made me throw up within minutes of taking it. The capsule had dissolved and the contents of the capsule was coming out like smoke(obviously wasn’t smoke but the powder made it look like it) when I exhaled. Then came the throw up. Wouldn’t recommend.
