Pillow Perfect BUCKWHEAT HUSK

The product itself is perfect, its exactly as described and was well packaged with a nice informational leaflet and if I had to buy more I would repurchase this.I recommend using a mask when using it. I am usually not badly affected by dust etc and although there is no visible dust that comes of the product, for some reason this made me sneeze quite a lot, so I presume it was dust. I am not faulting the product, just a possible tip for use.I used these buckwheat hulls along with rice and lavender as filling to stuff microwavable heated hand pads that I made. The idea was that it would take some of the weight of the rice down. I tested different ratios as I went and found it bulked out the rice very well but it did not hold the heat very well compared to using a lot more rice.I also used it to make mini lavender sachets to help the lavender go further and it worked perfectly. The stuffing the hulls give is lovely, I can see why it would be a great choice for pillows and may have to try it out in the future!

Nothing not to dislike I just wish I had discovered using this for a pillow years ago. You can adjust the amount you feel is comfortable and that suits your comfort. I thought it would irritate me with being noisy but instead it's rather comforting.I can now scrunch my pillow around my neck, having spine disease means the top of my neck is rather deformed so getting comfortable is an actual nightmare. The past few mornings I have actually woken feeling that I have had some comfort.Thanks for the speedy service, economic price and I highly recommend to others to trying this historical way of using a pillow.

Bought to refill a yoga cushion which had originally been filled with spelt. This was the cheaper option, but seems just as good. I bought 2kg and have some left which I have kept for topping up. The floor cushion is well used by my husband who has back issues, so he spends hours on the floor sitting on or leaning on the cushion. Time will tell if the buckwheat is as longlasting as spelt.I used a dishwasher funnel to fill the cushion, this worked very well, as the funnel neck is wider and spillage was minimal.

filled 2 pillows with this, initially didn't quite buy enough so ordered another load to fill up pillows some more. makes for really nice pillows, slightly heavier and less spongey/soft of course but it's a different kind of pillow, more like a seed pillow but not quite as heavy as it's just hulls. am very happy with my 2 pillows, nice to rest on and also good for sofas without arm rests or when you're leaning against a wall as they fill up the space in between you and the surface, no lumps etc.i poured the hulls straight from the packaging into the pillow case, couldn't be bothered with a plastic lining. if it every breaks, it'll be dustbin and hoover, shouldn't be a problem.

Superb refilling of an old cushion, now much more supportive to use and love the fresh outdoorsy smell. Definitely my first choice for a pillow or a cushion.

I got this to fill two beanbags for supporting my camera. I was able to fill both with some still left, which I thought was good value.
