Teksta Robotic Puppy (Blue)

Just purchased this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas as she wanted one last year and hadnt given up wishing. It looks to be good quality. We have yet to put batteries in and test it but I am sure it will deliver on her expectations.

I've seen other reviews which seem mixed. My now 7 yr old wanted this as we can't have a real puppy. He and my 4 yr old love it. Key points to remember: 1. Ears are designed so they can fall off without breaking. So if it lands funny after doing a backflip then just click them in again. 2. Programming on play.com to use with texsta works fine. You have to read the instructions and I found a youtube video helpful to back them up. Remember that if you haven't pressed the correct head button to ready texsta then it won't work. You need to watch the eye patterns. It is robotic so give the poor thing a chance! Hope this helps. Both my children love it.

My 6 year old got this for his Christmas, I was worried after reading all the negative reviews, managed to get it at a reduced price and thought ok lets go for it and hope its ok. Well its more than ok, granted you have to figure out the hand controls and it did take my son quite a time to be patient and let Teksta go through its routine before it is ready to take the hand commands. My son now has it sussed and its just great!! Not sure how long the batteries are going to last as it does take a lot of power for Teksta to do a flip. So far I am delighted with it, my son thinks its the best thing "ever"!!

My Lad got what he wanted for Christmas,But I don't really understand what the hype was about.It only does certain things like back flips, walks,barks, but it wouldn't fetch me the paper.But seriously if I had paid a lot more I would be very disappointed with the item as it is only worth so much and not what retailers are asking.

Ok this was hard to review. The puppy itself is pretty cool and quite fun - for animal loving kids I reckon this would be a real winner. You need plenty of AA batteries as it rinses them! However the bone comes with the capsule type batteries already. When first turned on, the puppy walks about and when pressing the buttons on its head will walk about to music. We successfully got it to sit and do backflips, although it needs plenty of time and patience to get it to action what you have asked for. The app on the ipad was easy to install and helps a bit if you want to log commands in. The ball sticks to the dogs nose with a small magnet on the ball, and the bone charges when you put it up to the puppy's mouth, but that's about it. It is insanely noisy however, and sort for clunky, which was a disappointment to my geeky 6yr old boy who I think thought it would be much more sophisticated. For these reasons we returned it - it simply didn't seem clever enough or responsive enough for the cost. I wouldn't recommend at all, unless you have an utterly dog-mad child who doesn't expect too much from it. However, I have given it 4 stars as there was nothing essentially wrong with it, and the seller was really helpful about us returning it.

I thought this couldn't be as bad as the reviews. I was wrong, it's worse. It has one star because I can't give it zero. I bought it for my 5 year old who was desperate for it. Due to the other poor reviews, I thankfully decided to test it before giving it to my daughter. It didn't walk at all. It's supposed to dance to 2 songs, but could only play one tinny little tune and didn't dance at all. I did manage to get it to do one back flip after about an hour of trying. It's quite a heavy toy, and landed so heavily that I can imagine it would soon break if it ever managed to do several flips. However, full marks to Amazon. I returned the toy, and they refunded the money very promptly without a quibble. This toy should be withdrawn from the market before anyone else wastes time/money.

My son has had hours of fun with this toy. It works well with the app on our kindle fire. It looks cute and makes some sweet puppy noises. My son loves watching the back flip! I wouldn't buy for really young children as it may break easily if thrown around.

Produit entièrement conforme à notre souhait. réagit très bien aux gestes effectués juste petit bémol attention à ne pas mettre la tête juste au dessus quand on lui demande de faire un salto arrière produit très intéressant pour les enfants

Acheté en dernière minute alors qu'en rupture dans tous les magasins de jouets, nous avons pu ravir un petit garçon dont c'était le cadeau qu'il désirait le plus.

Pas de manuel d'utilisation en français. Résultat : ne savons pas le faire marcher. Du coup, notre enfant s' en ai très vite lassé.

Le chiot effectue beaucoup d'espiègleries en autonomie tout en répondant aux gestes de l'enfant. Il est sympathique et ses yeux très expressifs. De plus il se commande aussi très bien par le son d'un smartphone. Il correspond bien à la notice. Nous l'avons reçu 4 jours plus tôt que le mail de suivi l'annonçait !

Un jouet vraiment sympa, je ne pense pas qu'un enfant de moins de 5ans arriverait à s'en servir.Le petit chien n'obeit pas toujours,ce qui agace un peu mon fils.Ce jeu est un peu cher tout de même.Je recommanderai bien à un ami s'il ne coute pas plus de 70eur.Moi je l'ai acheté 129eur.
