Amazon Fire HD 8 Case (8” Tablet, 7th and 8th Generation – 2017 and 2018 release), black

My favourite Amazon Fire case to date. I pre -ordered this case in black alongside the new Fire HD 8 with Alexa. The case has a very smart looking fabric outer (if you have seen the Amazon fabric case for the Echo Dot then this is what this case is like on the outside) and a lovely soft microfibre inner. It is a snug and perfect fit, as expected, solid and well built. It feels comfortable to hold in the hand. The case has a magnetic open/close mechanism and auto wake/sleep function - all of which work well. The cover , when folded back on itself, stays very firmly in position against the back cover - the magnet seems much, much stronger than other cases I have used.(no flapping!) The built in folds for standing/holding are also perfectly functional. I'm guessing that this cover will not mark as easily as previous covers too. Very pleased.

As with any new technology purchase your first thought turns to keeping your new toy safe, and I was tempted to go a little cheaper when it comes to the case for my Kindle 8 but I'm glad I spent a little more. The case is very well made, extremely supportive and protects the screen and the back of the Kindle beautifully. It's really smart looking and does the job superbly. Sometimes you've got to spend a little bit more for the quality!

It is always better to have the genuine article rather than a cheaper copy. This is fit for purpose and does its job very well. Sure, there are much cheaper copies out there and I have experienced both and can safely say you get what you pay for, this will outlast the others by a mile. This may be 3 times the price of other Kindle covers/cases but it is better, it is that simple, you buy cheap, you buy twice. The reason for a 4 star rating over a 5 is it is just that little bit too pricey for what you get but when all is said and done you are protecting a much more expensive item with it, I would rather pay for a case than a new kindle. Definitely worth owning.

Buying this was a tough choice (half tempted to buy showmode case and dock but really glad I got this!The case LOOKS AND FEELS premium quality. Got lovely soft interior to protect screen and great textured finish which is both rugged and will prevent accidental drops. The origami style is quick to deploy both in landscape and portrait mode and is the perfect angle for watching movies, using show mode and for creating documents (I own a Bluetooth keyboard). In short, my fire hd8 goes everywhere with me and this case will greatly reduce the risk of damage in my bag whilst still being extremely light and comfortable to hold. It's not the cheapest case available but it certainly IS the best!!!! Update. Had a week now. Really light and comfortable to hold and use and viewing angle for show mode is spot on!

Sturdy, well made, premium quality feel. I love the magnetised back so that when you open it up the back side locks to the back of the kindle, really handy. This does not feel cheap, it feels really well made and it looks great. Usually i'd have gone for cheaper alternatives but i wanted to try this and i wasn't disappointed. really high quality well made product.

Already the owner of several generations of Kindle Fires and e-readers bought this for a steal in the Prime sale, Absolutely the best one so far - fast, responsive and great quality for the price. A worthy second tablet to my IPad Air 2 principle tablet. Highly recommended for those who use the Amazon eco-system. The case is of high quality as usual but probably the best one so far as the cover material has the best feel to date.

Does what its says. Bought with Fire and has been used everyday since. Value for money OK and good quality. Protects the Fire which I am sure without it would have been dropped a few times due to their slippery finish. Colour choices to suit everyone as well. Easy to fit and does not affect use of Fire pad.

I've had this tablet for three years now and it's began to get janky. A single drop on the floor gave the screen a large crack in the middle - it's very irritating when you try to scroll. Overall, this tablet has lasted me a while and been ok until year three. Even when properly hooked up to the internet and wifi, this tablet was slow. It's battery runs out at a decent rate, but it's almost got quicker over time. The video quality is not amazing, but I'd say yes, it's a decent buy if you want an easy, simple tablet for a few years.

Mejor de lo que esperaba. Muy bonita y discreta, cuando estoy usando la tablet casi ni se nota. Queda super ajustada, no añade nada de volumen a la tablet y el tacto es muy agradable, ya que el aspecto, exterior e interior, es de tela . Una cosa que me gusta mucho es que si la doblo hacia atrás para ler, queda totalmente adherida de forma magnética a la cubierta trasera, de modo que no tengo que estar sujetándola con la mano. Si en el futuro se demuestra que es resistente y no se estropea fácilmente con el uso, le mantendré las 5 estrellas porque la inversión habrá valido la pena, y si me decepciona con el uso, ya editaré éste comentario. Añade algo de peso a la tablet, pero es aceptable.

Als ich das "Fire HD 8" gekauft hatte, war mir klar, dass ich auch eine passende Schutzhülle dafür brauche.Da ich mir sicher gehen wollte, dass die Hülle auch wirklich passt habe ich mich für die Hülle von Amazon entschieden.Die Hülle macht einen guten Eindruck. Sie ist stabil und fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an.Das Tablet passt ohne Probleme in die Hülle hinein und ist gut geschützt in ihr.Mir hat die Hülle sehr gefallen, jedoch habe ich sie trotzdem zurückgeschickt, da mir das "Fire HD8" nicht wirklich gefallen hat.Aber die Hülle hat sich die 5 Sterne auf jeden Fall verdient!Ich kann diese Hülle weiter Empfehlen, der das "Fire HD 8" hat und diese gut Schützen möchte.Zusammenfassung:+stabil+fühlt sich hochwertig an+Tablet ist gut geschützt-(bis jetzt noch keine Schlechte Punkte)

La funda en sí es de muy buena calidad y encaja muy bien en la fire HD 8, eso sí algo cara, pero con la promoción del 20% sale bien de precio. No le pongo las 5 estrellas que se las merece porque mi funda me ha llegado sin el precinto y con signos mínimos de uso sobre todo en la esquina superior derecha con un pequeño roce. Es muy raro en Amazon pero pasa. En este caso creo que la ha devuelto otro cliente. No realizo el proceso de devolución porque es complejo y sobre todo los que vivimos en Canarias los tiempos se multiplican por 3. En fin, el producto es bueno y recomiendo su compra, eso sí con ofertas o promociones.
