This is so gloopy and viscous it's nigh on impossible to wash out, so makes hair look overly greasy even after shampooing. Suggestions?

Hi, I’ve been using this product for about 6months now and have not experienced this at all. Is it possible you got a bad batch? Or could you be using too much? The product is very light and feels very nice on my scalp. Honestly the oil has really helped improve my thickness and general health of my hair. I have type 4b Afro hair by the way.

Worried i have a fake oil!! mine has more of a lemongrass smell as opposed to the unpleasant smell that i’ve heard people say. anyone else have this?
