McCainFlavour Maker Fries Takeaway Style Salt & Pepper 762g

NOt a fries lover but these were nice.

I tried the Mccain Flavour Maker takeaway Salt and Pepper fries and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and they had a nice balance of saltiness and spiciness. The seasoning sachets were easy to use and gave the fries a restaurant-like flavour. I cooked them in the air fryer, which took about 10 minutes, and they came out perfectly. They were great as a snack or as a side dish for burgers or chicken.The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because they were a bit too big for my liking, and they took up a lot of space in the freezer. They also had quite a lot of calories and fat, so I would not eat them too often. But overall, they were a satisfying and convenient product that I would buy again. They offer the “Shake bag” in the fresh section and that one is a five-star material.

It's my fault for missing the '3 sachets' sign on the bottom left. Maybe I would have then realised that these weren't pre-flavoured. I have already got bottles of flavouring so I basically paid a premium for less. I won't be buying this again.

oven chips. Bags of chips are sometimes styled flavour makers and sometimes styled season and bake. As several reviewers have suggested, it might be better if it were pre-flavoured. It's intended as a bag of three 250g portions of chips, with three sachets of spice, one for each portion. Hence, 762g, allowing for each sachet, 4g. I attach a photo of the other style in which bags of these chips sometimes come. There is no difference whatsoever in the contents, regardless of the packaging style.

Good fries and tasted nice just make sure you season them first, the sachet is included in the package.

It's basically a bag of fries and a packet of flavouring. They sent bad. But would be cheaper to just buy plain fries and add your own seasoning. Which is what I will do in future. Also you get the seasoning in 3 sachets so you have to eat these on 3 sittings. So it doesn't work out creat if you only want a small portion at a time.
