This is very nice. The VS (vibrant stainless) finish matches the faucet VS finish. Easy to install. A small funnel to fill is needed to prevent a soapy mess.

The finish is a perfect match for the Kohler Haku R38475-LVS faucet in vibrant stainless.One quirk is that the soap doesn't come out of the very end of the nozzle. There's a hole in the bottom of the nozzle about a quarter inch from the tip. I prefer this since the soap is easier to control, but it keep that in mind when calculating clearance if you want to fill your sink with soapy water.The top wiggles very slightly, by like a 16th of an inch. I don't notice it during normal use.Dispensing soap requires very little pressure. I can easily get just a few drops of watered down Dawn (3-1 water to soap).My sink had a 1.5" hole where the sprayer hose used to be. This just barely fit. There are no leaks yet but I may have to buy a larger gasket at some point if it ever slips.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad for this item.I bought my Soap dispenser in March 2011 and just recently had to replace the soap container. I bought this because the price was good for the brushed nickel/stainless look and good price. It looks great in my Chef's kitchen (Wolf Range, English country sink and Subzero, Boshe, Miele appliances). I'm so hard on this dispenser and do oversized platters and pots/pans 3-4 times a day. I've never had a problem with the pump action or refilling. Recently, I wanted to clean the soap bottle and it got torn at the neck. I called Kohler and they were able to replace it for me. I normally purchase higher name brand products but will look at Kohler for any product in the future based on this experience!

I installed this recently to replace one I had that corroded and wouldn’t pump anymore. The new one has a better design where the connection between the pump and the plunger piece on top is plastic not brass. The new one will never corrode I don’t think. You can’t beat kohler quality. I have 95% kohler everything throughout my house and a lot of it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Purchased this to replace the soap dispenser that came with the faucet. This replacement is a much higher quality than the original and was simple to install in minutes.

The fact that this is a 14-year review should say more than anything else.We couldn't be more pleased with the quality and longevity of this simple dispenser.We have been using this as a dish soap dispenser for 14 years. We could not be more pleased. It is well-built and simple to use, fill, and service (see below).I have had to replace the pump mechanism two times over 14 years. The pump mechanism is readily available and replacement is a simple 5-minute job.

This product is well built, looks good, works great - when used properly!! This item is made to dispense hand soap and moisturizer!!!! It is not designed to be used with heavy dishwashing soap like Dawn, etc.!!Don't be so lazy, reach under the sink when you need dishwashing soap. People are leaving so many bad reviews on a good product because they are not using it for the intended purpose. I've had this for 8 months with zero issues, I also unscrew the bottle to refill it rather than dumping it through the top.

Solid metal and great quality. Easy to install and looks brand new months down the line. Highly recommend!

This is so much better than leaving a bottle of dish soap on your countertop. It's unobtrusive and does the job. Just remember not to put anti-bacterial soap in it as it can mar the stainless steel (plus, anti-bacterial soap doesn't do anything useful and is terrible for the environment)

A bit short for getting soap far enough into the sink, but otherwise quite pleased with it. The order arrived quickly and well-packaged.

Original Kohler piece which matches Kohler faucets. These units last somewhere between 5-10 years, and then the spout corrodes and falls out. The unit is quite expensive for what it is, and to get five stars would need to be more durable than a generic soap dispenser that could had for probably one third the price.
