SilverStone SST-GD07B - Grandia HTPC ATX Computer Case, Silent High Airflow Performance, black

Great case it fit's high spec graphics cards, I have a high end set up, and it's very quiet and has plenty of air flow with the exhaust at the back of the TV cabinet, 3x120mm intake slots at the front, 2x 120mm intake slots on the side and 2x80mm rear exhaust at the back. the intakes have filters and 3 fans pre-installed, I bought 2xARCTIC F12 PWM Rev.2 and ARCTIC F8 PWM Rev.2, now these fans are cheap, shift a lot of air and are silent, I recommend them for any case. If you plan on using a after market cooler be careful to check out the specs of the case, being a HTPC case it, doesn't have room for some of the biggest coolers, the only thing is cable management not great but it doesn't matter because you won't be looking inside very much.

This is an awesome case with tons of flexibility. I love the HD solution but when the system has a few drives in it and they're all wired up - it's not as accessible as I'd like it to be as you pretty much end up disconnecting all of the power and data cables to remove the full unit, even if you just need to work with one disk. Also, it gets quite toasty with running at max disk capacity - I ended up removing half of the HDs just to be able to run with acceptable fan noise levels. Case is quite compact for all it can fit in so careful consideration of cabling is a must. I love the 8th horizontal PCI slot on these cases - a very flexible feature. Love the look and build quality. Fits well on my a/v rack.

Excellent piece of kit for the price looks very good in my Atacama audio video racks can certainly recommend this one for value for money.

As soon as I got the top off my heart sank. It’s quite poorly made. The rear of the unit was misshapen. The thing is made of the thinest tin ever. Little thought into routing the cabling of the chassis. The hard drive caddy is appalling. I really wish I never bought it. You can tell it’s a product that’s been around a bit. It would be impossible to fit what the day it can and cable it. I’m full of deep dread from buying. Should have left my pc in the Fractul Design R6 case. That’s how to do cases. I just needed to change to a media pc. Room in bedroom 😕

E-ATX - Das war für mich entscheidend da ich gern so ein Board hier einbauen wollte. Das Gehäuse ist sehr gut verarbeitet, der Laufwerkskäfig lässt sich mittels ein paar Schrauben leicht entfernen. Für mein Board evtl. auch für viele andere E-ATX Board wäre es besser die Befestigung und Anordnung des 5,25" auf die linke Seite zu legen aber da ich im Moment kein Blue-Ray Laufwerk nutze ist das bei mir kein Problem. Wünschenswert wären auch einzelne Laufwerkskäfige in meinen Fall lasse ich den Einbau komplett raus und hab dadurch Platz für die Kabel. Die Lüfter am Boden kann man an der Seite einbauen und dann passt auch ein E-ATX Board ohne Probleme.

Bonjour; À mon avis un bon boîtier pour un PC Home Cinéma, un peu cher pour moi, mais c'est un bon rapport qualité-prix. L'esthétique est au top avec la façade en aluminium, elle s'harmonise avec le reste de mes appareils hi-fi, la serrure et le blocage du bouton de marche-arrêt c'est un plus. J'ai ajouté un Rheobus pour baisser la vitesse (donc le bruit) des trois ventilateurs Silverstone.

Ottimo case, ideale per gestire un server, si possono collegare fine a 13 HD (11 da 3,5" e 2 da 2,5") Ottimo sistema di raffreddamento, si possono mettere fino a 7 ventole: 3 da 120 sotto per raffredare i dischi, due da 120 laterali per immettere aria e 2 da 80 dietro per estrarre l'aria calda. naturalmente nessun drive da 5,25 poichè una volta installato Windows server dal dvd si può togliere per lasciare posto agli hard disk. pescaggio aria anche dal lato sinistro se avete un alimentatore predisposto. Per quanto riguarda la verniciatura, chi l'ha criticata, non ha capito che è così.... Effetto bolle..... Incompetenti!!!!!! Sopra potete anche mettere l'ottava ventola per estrarre aria calda (da 80) e fa bene il suo dovere. Ottimo il sistema di estrazione della flotta di hard disk Ideale per farsi un server come ho fatto io, tutto chiuso davanti con chiave e con 2 coppie di 4 HD in raid 5 e 2 in mirror per i backup dei client della rete, più quello di boot con Windows server 2016 da 2,5" e resta ancora spazio per uno da 3,5 e uno da 2,5!!!!!

Boitier de bonne qualité, mais tout à fait aussi bien fini que mes 2 autres Antec que j'ai pu tester. Mon utilisation : HTPC, c'est à dire boîtier dédié au Home Cinéma, donc je recherche le silence, et une intégration visuelle sobre sous l'ampli. Je ne joue pas, donc le PC n'est pas amené à trop chauffer, donc ne nécessite pas un refroidissement extrême. L'espace à l'intérieur est très vaste, j'ai pu y loger une carte mère ATX avec un Core i7 920, un ventirad Noctua NH-C14 et ses 2 ventilateurs de 14cm, une carte graphique, une alim, et un SSD (pas de disque dur, ni de lecteur CD, bien qu'une très large place leur est disponible si nécessaire). La porte verrouillable est très appréciable pour protéger le boîtier des mains pleines de doigts des jeunes enfants. La diode bleue en façade peut être atténuée grâce à une molette, parfait pour ne pas être ébloui dans le noir face à l'écran. Le gros point noir de ce boitier (qui lui fait perdre une étoile dans ma note), c'est les 3 ventilateurs fournis : ils sont beaucoup trop bruyants ! Même ralentis à 800 tr/min, ils sont désagréables. Je les ai donc remplacé par 2 Scythes Slipstream 800rpm pour les entrées situées sous le boitier, et 2 Scythes Slipstream 500rpm pour les entrées situées sur le coté droit. Et maintenant quelle silence ! Associés à la carte graphique fanless, l'alimentation fanless, le SSD, et les 2 Noctua 14cm contrôlés à 800 tr/min, quel plaisir de regarder des films !

Solido e ben costruito. E' congegnato in modo tale da accettare praticamente qualsiasi configurazione senza rischi di surriscaldamenti anomali (tallone d'Achille di molti case HTPC). In salotto è davvero elegante. Se non fosse stato per delle piccole imperfezioni di verniciatura sui fianchi (le lastre delle spalline hanno piccole bollicine derivanti da una finitura non ottimale) avrei dato 5 stelle.
