What Dat? The Great Big Ugly Doll Book of Things to Look at, Search for, Point to, and Wonder About (Uglydolls) Hardcover – September 27, 2011

Uglydolls are awesome. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are perfect when you really don't want to instill any kind of gender identity issues in your kids.And, generally speaking, the Uglydoll books are good for kids, too. But this one falls flat. Perhaps it's because it's paper rather than a board book, geared towards the under-2 set, yet not made to be handled by the same population, that I simply can't give it a great review.But it still gets 3 stars for being kinda' cute and a little funny. Too bad I can't let my kid have it without direct supervision.

This is, as expected, a very cute book to share with youngsters.The previous person's comment that the book has paper pages (rather than cardboard) so they only gave it 3 stars is just goofy! This is a great book to share with your young children.It is fun to read together, and little ones will enjoy the simple Uglydoll drawings.Not as complex as Richard Scarry's books, however, the simplicity works. I recommend this book, 100%.

This book is a bit busy for a young child. I found it confusing myself. I would not have purchased it had I looked at all the pages.

I've been buying this book for all of my friends kids- from newborns to 5 year olds. Everyone loves it- even the parents! It's such a great, fun, interactive books. David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim are brilliant!

I bought this book for my two-year-old who is Uglydoll-obsessed and already asks "what dat?" at everything. The whole family has thoroughly enjoyed it. My five-year-old was so excited to find the two UglyDaleks.
