Macks Aqua Block Ear Plugs

I have been having some issues with my ears recently and my doctor recommended wearing ear plugs for swimming and bathing - I did some research online and the Macks were highly rated, I can see why! I have tried many different brands of ear plugs and found that they either fit poorly or did not function as intended - not keeping water out of my ears. The Macks fit perfectly in my ear and they form a slight vacuum, they keep water out when I am swimming and they do not fall out neither. They are so comfortable to wear and I forget they are there, they do not feed odd when in my ears like some. There are 2 x pairs of ear plugs in the pack - they come with a small plastic storage container so you can see them securely stored away when not in use. The plugs are re-usable and are made from a soft silicone material which can easily be cleaned. These are excellent quality; they really do work and are the best, I highly recommend them - they are also fantastic value for money!

I use these for recreational swimming (i.e steady lengths up and down the local pool). I have no problem in carefully putting them in my ears and removing them before and after use. They fit well into my ears, are comfortable to wear, and so far have not come out in use. They are virtually 100% water-tight and have completely prevented earlier problems associated with water in the ears after swimming. Whilst they cut down noise considerably I can still just about hear what I choose to listen to. The clear box in which they come is useful. And if I lose one or even two (not happened yet) I still have a set of two. In purple, if one did come out in the water I would stand a chance of seeing it. For good ear hygiene I am careful to use the box before and after use to avoid them getting dirty and I would recommend washing the plugs in warm soapy water from time to time. I would recommend them.

These are awesome. Been using twice a week for lap swimming in an indoor pool for the past year and so far no issues at all. Great product!

They sort of work. I dont think the ear plugs exist which will fully keep water out of your ears whilst swimming, but they're better than nothing. They worked for gentle swimming but when swimming vigorously they wiggled loose after a while and had to be pushed back in, by which time my ears had filled with water, so not a total success.

I have suffered with horrific persistent reoccurring ear infections for many years before finding these ear plugs. I use them in the shower, the bath and when swimming and I haven't (touch wood) had a single ear infection since the day I started using them, which has been over 18 months. I used to have ear infections bi-monthly and suffered for about 12 years. They fit well, they don't let any water in, they are comfortable and easy to keep clean. They're soft and you hardly notice you're wearing them. I tried another brand but they were painful as they were more rigid. The three little bands enable a snug fit in your ear.

Used these last week in my swimming session and they held well in my ears and did it's job properly. Received 2 pairs in a plastic box. However I think they are expensive. Could have cut the cost by removing the plastic box or supplying with couple more. I'm keeping one set inside my swimming goggles box anyway.

I bought these earplugs after extensive online research and also refusing to pay £55 for custom-made equivalents. They seem well made and the bright purple I am hoping means that they will be less easy to lose/forget in the changing rooms. They were bought for my 5-year-old son who had been suffering from painful 'water in the ear' problems in the last year or so. He was happy to give them a go which was not guaranteed as he like most 5 year olds, can be fussy/melodramatice about anything new/unfamiliar. I let him put them in so that [a] he felt in control and [b] I could gauge how far he wanted then to be pushed in without hurting. Well in the initial test, they stayed in place and we had no water-in-the-ears problem. Quite importantly, he could still hear us when spoken to ... something I was unsure of when we made the purchase. So, in summary, so far so good, although I keep expecting them to fall out. They havent as yet.
