Beautiful and much admired.
Make great planters for Yukka type plants or palms. Realistic looking. Most people assume they are stoneware, not plastic, but so easy to move!!

What a stunner !!!!! Careful if you have little ones !!!!
I ordered one of these previously through my Gardners World magazine and I really liked it. This was before we had all the rain but I decided to replace an old water butt with another. I ordered through Amazon as this one was very competitive in price and obviously delivered to your door. It really looks lovely in my cottage garden and blends in well with everything. If you have small children though be careful because the tops are reasonably easy to remove. In one of mine I have cut out a circle for a shed downpipe so they are very versatile. Also consider buying the stand for the Waterbutt, I have one on one of mine and it finishes it all off nicely.

Sankey Beehive Water Butt
This is a handsome beast as far as water butts go; they are not usually known for their good looks but this one certainly has them -it has been much admired as it stands by my front door. I would have given this item 5 stars except that, once full, the tap leaked. I was given a 15% refund, which I thought was fair. The butt was easy to connect up but I think, for the price, the connection kit should have been included. I also thought the stand was pricey so mine rests on some terracotta bricks which I was given. Apart from this I am very happy with the water butt.

Looks very realistic
I wanted a water butt that would be more of a feature as it will be fairly visible, and this is interesting enough and though made of plastic, is an excellent simulacrum of terracotta. The fluting on the sides does make it tricky to fit the entry spigot if you are using a rainfall diverter; in my case the spigot called for a 26mm hole - I deliberately drilled it at 25 as the plastic is thick enough and soft enough for the thread to cut its way in. This gives a nice waterproof solution if the wavy surface otherwise defeats a regular gasket.

Love it. Looks so good
It’s perfect for a small garden. Looks so much nicer than my old green plastic water barrel

Veg saver!
I bought this for my husband during this summer's very dry weather! A hosepipe ban was introduced which meant we had to carry watering cans to the flower and vegetable beds which was difficult and time consuming! This stylish water butt is placed beside the wood store which means the water is located close to point of need! It looks like an old Mediterranean olive jar which suits our garden! It has been raised on spare slabs so the tap can be accessed and can function. We think it was a very good buy!

Nice looking, makes a feature in the garden.
Does look a lot nicer than black or green water butts. I paid £63 and found that value for money,. I was going to bu another but see it's gone up over £30 so won't be buying another. Shame out priced itself.

Leaky and a faff to install
Much more aesthetically pleasing than anything else I could find, but it is true what many other buyers say, the tap does leak and I need to keep a pot beneath so it won't stain the paving over time. Some people have suggested using outdoor sealant, so I'll be trying that. Some reviews say the attachment is included. Mine wasn't so I bought it separately. Had to punch a small hole though the plastic and use the sharp edge of scissors to keep scouring out thin layers of plastic into a circular hole. Then try the fitting. Then keep scouring. Then try the fitting. Important not to make the hole too big. It would ideally have been pre-cut and capped, as there is also the opportunity to cut a hole in the top so the downpipe can drop right in. Depends on your space. You pay the price for how good it looks. Could get a much larger but uglier unit for same price. It's a gamble, just hope I don't have to empty it too much after heavy rainfall.
