They certainly compress, a bit slide-y when walking around
I'll be needing these or something like them to prevent embolisms post-surgery. Tried them out the other day by walking around in them for a day.Yes, they compress your legs. They have an adjustable Velcro strap near the top to keep them up rather than sliding down your leg. I had the strap pretty tight, not all the way to painful, but tight enough that there's was no way I'd forget I was wearing them.Over the course of walking, driving, pushing a cart around a warehouse club, they did inch down some.Maybe there's a sweet spot I didn't hit. If you're mostly sitting around trying to prevent edema or embolism, these should work fine, and it should stabilize your knees as well. Can't comment on how they look, didn't buy them for the fashion, but if you're wearing shorts over these you'll look normal enough to stumble around a Costco.

Good compression sleeve, but they do slide down while wearing
These compression sleeves do a good job of alleviating some of my knee pain, but they don't have any non-slip material on the thigh portion, which allowed the sleeve to slide lower on my leg and be less effective. The thigh strap (which I think is intended to be used as a non-slip feature) didn't help as much as I'd liked. The sleeves are made of very good quality materials, and are fairly thick, so if you're going to wear this in the heat, you may be sweating a lot! Overall, good product and materials, just wish there was a better non-slip feature/material to keep it from sliding down my leg while in use.

Measure your thigh first
This is a pair of compression sleeves not just one. They help hold the knee in place and reduce water retention. They pull on and have a Velcro strap at the top to help hold them in place. The fit is accurate for the size shown on the chart. If your thigh is bigger than the number shown, they will roll down to the knee. This can be a problem if that’s where and why you need the compression.

Not made for girls with larger thighs.
I think that overall this is an excellent product. Had my legs been in normal proportions i would have found them exceptionally useful. However, I have much larger thighs than calves and I felt like they were compressing a bit too much on my thighs. So if you are a bit more curvy go up a side.

Comfort and support
As a hiker whose knees started complaining a while back I have tried a number of knee braces and sleeves. This is the first time I tried a full-leg sleeve. I like it a lot. It is made of a soft woven material, so it feels quite comfortable. It supports the leg without trying to keep it rigid. I am of a medium build and the medium size sleeve fits just right. It looks quite attractive and friends asked me if I was trying to make a fashion statement. I like that there is no binding edge right below the knee, and the thigh edge also does not bind, because there is a Velcro strap at the thigh that can be adjusted to the tightness you need to keep the sleeve up.One word of caution so you don't damage the sleeve the first time you use it. The Velcro on the thigh strap is very strong, so don't unfold the tip of the strap (the part that does the sticking) until you are ready to fasten it. If the strap flaps around, the Velcro tip can start sticking to the material of the sleeve and raise the nap. It won't do serious damage, but it just won't look pristine.

Helps with knee support
Review for Compression Full Leg SleevesPackaging: 2 Compression Leg SleevesSize: XLDescription: Compression Leg Sleeves made of expandable fabricUse: I use these when I am working out my legs for addition support in particular to my knees. There is a noticeable increase in support when using these compression sleeves especially during leg intensive exercises. They are not uncomfortable to wear and the size measurements were accurate based on thigh circumference. The product did not slip or move during my workout session and did not require any additional adjustments. I can not speak to the long term durability of the product or uses outside the scope of my experience but it does perform as advertised regarding knee support.

So far, so good!
I am afraid i will not post pictures of my 'fat' legs, lol! However, I have already found some comfort in these, one knee is worse than the other and the lesser has shown great relief with this small amount of compression, the other is way more painful yet i was able to walk the dog today (just 700 steps) and the pain only got bad about half way rather than the whole walk as before. Surprisingly comfortable to wear and provide heat for the lower legs. I wish i had tried these long ago as i have a nerve problem in my feet after chemotherapy and the pain from this travels up my legs, today, my first time wearing these and i really think the pain from my feet reduced a little too? They are certainly cheap enough to give a try for any leg issues, i highly recommend trying them, rather than suffer on in ignorance!
