Claber D89000000 – Hose Trolley with 4 Wheels, Jumbo

Easy to assemble and a sturdy finished product. Highish handle is just right for moving it around and little basket carries my various spray heads for the hose. Hose rolls around the assembly smoothly without kinking.Do remember though that the wheels cannot swivel. This means it will only move forward or backwards and not turn. To do this you have to move it around a corner manually. Other than this it is a great product.

Bought during the long dry spell to carry a long hose from water butt pump and tap to vegetable patch. Reasonably easy to assemble (2 of us to hold bits together at some stages) with only one major disagreement between us, settled by a gin and tonic after successful completion of the task. Quite sturdy and works well with what is quite a heavy hose. Easy to connect up, reel out and then reel in again. Worth the money to make life a bit easier.

Amazing build quality. We like everything about this Claber Jumbo garden hose reel, the capacity of the reel is huge it can easily take our 50M of 3/4 inch that we havn't found any reel with the similar capacity. It's professional build quality, very sturdy, metal parts all over , the assembly are a bit tricky we were two persons doing the assembly which took like half hour, but eventually we got everyting nicely together and all fitted perfect. Price and quality match well.

Had looked at cheaper seemingly largely equivalent products, but glad I went for this one - Assembly Instructions designed and provided in colour for even the most simple of persons. Only issues ( not a problem) were that some of the parts that stated they needed assemble were pre - assembled and spent some time looking for the part before realising it was already fitted, also one of the bushes had looped it self over the winding handle hiding it nicely. This took a few mins to find also - What would I change? - it could do with a simple storage rack beneath the hose reel assembly for storage of basic gardening tools. I solved this by happening to find an un-used washing up bowl which fitted perfectly over the axles and was easy to place and remove without falling out in transit. (Luck). Have wound on some 100m of 1/2" hose and still loads of room left on reel. As someone who does metal fabrication and such I was impressed with the simplify of the build and its sturdiness. Find myself surprised to be recommending it. (paid full price and no benefits to me from this review)

easy to use and takes 100m hose with ease. You need to take care when rewinding hose as it needs steadying.

Bought 2 of these for very long hoses. They are very sturdy and easy to wind in the hose. We move them around the garden with ease.

Yes, I know it's £100 or so, but this is a big and nicely made beast. I put 100m of half-inch Tricoflex hose on, and there's plenty of room to spare on the reel. I found the pictorial guide to assembly was excellent, and it really can be done without any tools. I didn't think the little basket would be much use, but it holds the spraygun, attached to the hose very nicely, so you don't have any trailing ends when you wheel the thing about. No steering, of course, but very stable.
