Silicone Gaskets Replacement for Glass Meal Prep Container Lids, 4m

Great for what I needed. My cats somehow got to the original gaskets and these fit perfectly. Just trim to size (cut a tiny bit more than what u need and slowly adjust and trim to fit your lid) and slowly press it in. Super easy and quick to install. It's not 100% airtight and when I press on the lid you can hear some air squeeze out. So, I don't use the repaired lids for items I'm storing in an "airtight" container but I do use them to pack same-day lunches, etc. and no leaks/dripping! They've lasted several rounds in the dishwasher as well without popping off or coming lose!

Does the job but is not solid enough for a full seal. Doesn't adapt fully on corners so it leaks to creases making the sauces or liquids spread on the lid creases.

These gaskets don't fit GlassLock containers. I bought the correct size and installed them in the groove, and the containers now do not close. They are too small. I tried switching them, counter-intuitively, from width to height orientation, and they still don't work.

This was perfect for what I needed. My dog keeps getting the lids and pulling the gaskets out. I'm thankful for being able to replace them instead of buying all brand new lids. Would buy again

I ordered this to use as a replacement for the silicon sills around the lids of my glass food storage containers. It works well and helps to provide a tighter fit for the lid, but it doesn't make the lid leak proof like the original silicon sills that came with the product. I still like this product because I don't often put items with a lot of liquid that could leak out, in the containers, as I use them to hold my lunch items. I would put soup or other liquid items in something different anyway. I think this product is easy to use, you just cut the length of tube you need to fit around the lid and then stick that around your lid. It can sometimes be fiddly and fall out of the lid before you get it on the container, but I didn't have that hard of a time getting it to stay, hence the 4 stars. The sill is easy to clean, and ready to go for the next day.

This is an ingenious product, as I can’t find replacement lids for my glass containers and all that really needs replacing are the gaskets. But these are not thick enough to imitate the exact height of the original gasket. When I put these in and tried closing the lid on the container, it wasn’t able to latch on because the lid wasn’t resting at the correct height. Now I have to just throw everything out because it’s useless without the lid.

This works just fine, as long as it installed the right way. Compared to the original gasket, which has more of a square profile, the new gasket is more of a rectangular profile. Initially, I installed the new gasket with a wider profile down into the grove. That did not work. I then compared to the orientation of the original gasket. I then has to cut another piece, as the narrow profile results in a different length. However, it absolutely works.

It is not "universal" as being claimed. Also the price is high for a 4M silicon strip.

I wasn't able to find a replacement for my Glasslock gaskets at the official Glasslock site. But this worked great as a substitute as an aftermarket product. Fits the Glasslock fine. You just insert into the lid to measure and cut with scissors. The original gasket rips when you take it out to clean it due to food and mold growth.....so new ones are needed. The only downside is that there is a cut, so it isn't a singular circular gasket. But we fix this issue by using saran wrap to prevent food from entering the cut area. It works and becomes super leakproof. Good product!

Bought this to put a replacement gasket on a round handmade teapot lid. Formed a circle, cut strips from another piece to slot and glue into the open ends of the channels to securely attach the ends into a circle. Taped the joined ends onto a couple of cocktail sticks with insulating tape to hold the ends together till the silicon glue dried. You do need a tube of silicon glue. Worked a treat. Holds on lid just with friction. Plenty left for next seal replacement.

This revived my dollar store tupperware when the old gasket disintegrated and fell out. Very good quality and fits a wide range of groove widths.
