I bought this to use with my NOCO Genius 5 Smartcharger. The battery for my car is in the boot under a pull out panel with the puncture repair kit stored on top of it.Trickle charging the battery without this accessory used to be a pain as I had to remove the panel and the repair kit in order to gain access to the battery terminals to attach the clamps on the charger to the battery and then put them all back once it had finished charging.With this easy to fit accessory this only has to be done once. The wires extend under the panel into the boot so that I can then either attach the charger to the fused socket on the accessory when I need to use it or else just leave it attached so that I can plug it into a mains supply when I need to recharge it again.Personally I prefer to disconnect the charger as it can otherwise move around in the boot when the car is moving but its easy enough to reconnect it the next time I need to trickle charge the battery . Works well and I just wish I had bought it when I purchased the smart charger.

Perfect for permanent fixed charging, I have a battery on trickle charge constantly and I was suffering issues with the crocodile clips where the charger was loosing sight of the battery

Great quality, fitted to my VW T5 campervan and allows easy trickle charging without removing the battery cover. Ideally would have liked cable to be 10cm longer but it does the job.

TL;DR: Leave them permanently connected, plug in when needed, done. Own two sets and would buy more without hesitation.Got two sets of these, one permanently wired to the RZR buggy and one on the Polaris quad, both tucked away neatly when not in use. The convenience factor is hard to overstate. Rather than fumbling with crocodile clips every time a battery needs attention, you just pull the connector out and plug straight into the charger. It takes seconds and has become the only way I want to do it.Both have been left connected through all weather and all conditions without any issues. The build quality feels robust enough to justify permanent installation and the connection is solid every time. If I add another machine to the fleet I will be ordering another set immediately.

I bought a Noco charger at the start of the pandemic as lockdown and working from home meant that our cars weren't being used much. Over the next 3 years one of our cars won't get much use so the need to charge is ongoing.The chargers are great and come with clamps to connect to the battery which are easy to use if you can access the battery easily, as is the case with my wife's Toyota Yaris.However on my MK4 Megane I have to remove 2 plastic covers to access the battery which isn't very convenient and I suspect that the covers aren't designed to be removed regularly which will probably stress the clips on them over time.This simple cable allows you to permanently connect to the battery and then simply plug the charger in to the car.Fitting was straightforward, although I did need to remove some more covers to make sufficient room to be able to unscrew one of the terminals. I've found a safe place to rest the cable where it won't get trapped or damaged and can now connect up really quickly.

The NOCO Genius chargers are great on their own, but honestly one of the best upgrades has been adding the quick-connect cable accessories.I purchased both the GC02 and GC08 cable options. One is marketed more for automotive batteries with a larger mounting hole, while the other has a smaller mounting hole, but functionally they work exactly the same. On our vehicles, the GC02 actually would have been sufficient for both because the battery bolts fit through the smaller opening just fine. The only real difference is the mounting hole size depending on your battery terminal hardware.These accessories completely changed how easy it is to use the charger. No more fighting with clamps, trying to find the right angle, or leaving the hood open while charging. Once installed on the battery posts, you simply plug the NOCO charger directly into the quick connect and you’re done in seconds. They truly are “quick connect.”Another detail I appreciated is the built-in dust covers for when the connectors aren’t in use. Small feature, but it keeps everything clean and protected, especially in a garage or outdoor environment.The quality is excellent as well. The cables are thick, durable, and feel premium just like the chargers themselves. Everything fits securely and works seamlessly with the Genius chargers.If you own a NOCO charger, I highly recommend picking up one of these cable accessories. Honestly, after using them, I’d never want to go back to traditional clamps again.
