Absolutely brilliant.
So useful don't know how we managed without one. Water stream direct and aerated no sputtering. Easily swivels to direct flow. Pulling the cover selects the spray function that is handy to clean vegetables and rinse crockery. The adapter is easy to fit and is very well built.

A Little Gem of a product.
I have bought a lot of things this last 18 months whilst renovating a house for my retirement, most smaller items through Amazon, and others with prices ranging from a couple of pounds up to a few thousand but this little device has made my year! It is brillinat and has transformed the VERYexpensive tap I was supplied with my kitchen from an annoyance to a wonder to use. This little gem of a product ticks every box, it is very neat, it is of a very high quality, it switches effortlessly from spray to Aerator mode, the swivel action is so smooth and great for swilling around the sink, itwas simplicity itself to fit (I did not need the optional adaptor ring - possibly as my tap was of recent manufacture), it is top value and as usual with Amazon it arrived at amazing speed.Quite why manufacturers of expensive taps don't offer this in their design I don't know, but then it would mean that the manufacturers / designers of it would loose out and they should be well rewarded. I might buy another as an Eye for my half size Darlek!OCTOBER 2020. It has now been 4 yeras since I purcahed this and it is still working just fine. I have had no issueswith the design at all. The only comment I would make to my original review is that if you leave it in one of the two set postions for some time you do have to pull/push a little harder to swop functions. Great item. Top marks.UPDATE JANUARY 2021 After a few years this is still functioning well but the chrome around the cirumferenceof the nozzle has come away - not an issue and after all this rime petty good. It does prove what a qaulity item this is as the peeled off chrome is very thick - see photo

Great little kitchen gadget.
This screwed in easily replacing the stock "flow straightener" in my kitchen mixer. One problem is that it isn't really designed for UK mixer taps which segregate the hot and cold water right to the end of the tap. Such taps need a screw in unit with a ring gasket at the bottom of the thread, not a washer type gasket around the top (which is provided)This means the included gasket is useless as there is no surface within the tap for it to mate against resulting in a little bit of water dripping around the outside of the aerator whenever the tap is on. I'm going to try wrapping some ptfe tape round the threads to see if that helps stop the drips, however it still works well enough even with the lack of a full seal round the thread.Otherwise an excellent gadget that aerates the water well stopping splashes and reduces water use as the tap doesn't need to be turned on as far to get a useful flow of water, being able to direct the flow of water around the sink makes rinsing large items much easier.

Very good for the price
It took about 2 minutes to take the old aerator off and to fit this one. Very easy installation, and it works. Our water consumption has reduced quite substantially (we installed it on our boat where the water consumption is quite an important issue due to tank capacity limitations, but there is no reason to think that it wouldn't work well on a tap at home).Switching between spray and 'normal' setting is easy - just pulling or pushing the chrome-coloured part of the spout changes between the two very easily. We used it with water that was extremely high in limescale and it withstood it well. The flow in the 'spray' setting was eventually affected a little but a soak in white wine vinegar for a few hours sorted it out without any damage to the spout at all.It has a good range of adjustment in the angle. It seems to be made of plastic and looks a bit plastic, but at the £7.99 and its functionality, I am definitely not complaining.

Cheapest and best modification for a kitchen tap
I first bought one like this many years ago (not sure when). It was great. After 35 years of military moving around the world, we bought a moderately new house in leafy Hampshire in the south of England. The tap adaptor didn't fit the fancy tap in our house but after a while, we decided that the fancy tap didn't cut the mustard and replaced it with one that did and lo and behold, the tap adaptor (which I had carefully kept) fitted on the main arm. We liked this addition but the fitting was old and stiff and it was very difficult to change from spray to bubble jet (as we called it) so I bought this one. It is just as I remember the old one and works like a dream. It just screws on with the appropriate washer. You can adjust between the spray and the bubble jet with a gentle change of the position (up or down) of the nozzle. Whichever you use you can then adjust the angle to rinse down the sink quickly and easily.I thoroughly recommend this to inexpensively improve the function of any standard kitchen tap. I love it.
