TFADostmann Digital Thermo-Hygrometer, Multi-Colour, 19.3 x 4.2 x 26.700000000000003 cm

I received this item today and my initial impression was not great. I tried to insert the battery, which was tricky and only worked after wedging a small piece of paper between the battery and the lid of the battery compartment to establish a connection. The buttons did not seem to work, so I restarted it. On occasion, the buttons now worked but require a hard press, which I think will be the end of the product within a very short time. Pressing the clear button did not provide any feedback, so I am not sure if it ever worked and I was beyond caring and decided send the item back at this point. Overall, the product appears like something to be given away for free if you spend more than 10 pound on something else. Stay well clear of it.

This was good for the type of portable instrument. Compared with more permanent instruments the accuracy ws just within the limits claimed

I found this model by TFA to be less accurate than their larger model Kat.Nr 30.5000.02 of which I have two and both read the same + or - 0.5%. This model over reads the humidity by 4% or more and the temperature is somewhat erratic at times. The tiny battery goes flat in a matter of a few months. Over priced for what it offers I think.
