I adore this colour. A colleague at work had it, and she gave me the name. I've worn it so often since I bought it. It is very dark, to the point where my husband at first thought it was black. But then he realised it wasn't when i showed him my nails in the light. You can see the burgundy in it in the right light. I just think it's so smart. I tend to wear it as more of an Autumn / Winter colour, and usually opt for a brighter colour during Spring / Sunner. But there are no rules when it comes to nail colours!I also find OPI polish to be great quality, and this is no exception. I always put a base coat on first, then two layers of this (the second layer makes it really dark), then a top coat. The base and top coat are part of the secret to my nails lasting longer, the other secret is a good quality nail varnish, which this is. I always keep my nails short and have gotten a week out of this without chipping in the past.

I had a pedicure in this colour over a year ago and kept thinking I should buy it. It's a beautiful colour: it's totally solid with no glitter or shimmer and is a very, very deep purple shade. Like all OPI varnishes it lasts really well with no chipping and it's a huge bottle. I've been using this for months and I still have lots left.I usually like to buy lots of different colours but this goes with so many clothes I have I think I'll be repurchasing when I eventually run out.

The nail varnish is very nice, and looks high quality as with all OPI nail polishes. Although once you have applied 2 coats of this colour it looks black. I expected it to be more of a dark purple colour but it is so dark it only looks black! If I wanted a black nail varnish I would have bought one!

This is a cult classic. Looks almost black on the nail especially with 3 coats. Formula goes on well and stays on for ages with a good topcoat. I like it on my shorter nails as I think it makes my hands look well groomed.Requires a bit longer to dry depending on how many coats used.Arrived well packaged and only took a couple of days.
