VITCAS 310ml Heat Resistant Board Adhesive - High Temperature Adhesive - Fireproof

I brought this as a wood panel had come off under neath my oven and couldn’t get the screws back in as the kitchen is fitted and tand my landlord was due to visit, I’m not good at diy, I brought this and was so easy to use, did not need to use to much of it and it works really well. I didn’t have to keep the panel in place either. This is strong and does what it says

Good stuff but pricey. Warning this material is more like cement than a silicone, so comes out very wet and non sticky. Also one tube doesn’t go far. However sets like brick and creates a permanent, tough fire seal.

I used this to stick cement board in a fireplace before installing a log burner and it has worked a treat.

Used it to repair an old cast iron multi-fuel stove. Cut new vermiculite blocks, stuck them in, and sealed the gaps with this. Easy to use and quite wet on application. Repeated use of the stove, over the winter, has revealed no problems. Very expensive for the DIY-er but worth it.

Did not manage to get it to make a joint. Have had to use fire cement instead…
