I am hard of hearing is good for me

Nice design, really loud phone that I can hear clearly with my hearing aids in. Also helpful as it works well when I have my aids out. Does what it says on the box.

I found this to be a poor product in respect of the audio, which is a key point, given that the product is aimed at the hard-of-hearing. The audio clarity and integrity is poor - even where the Handset is used in close proximity to the Base Station - in a clean radio environment. At any volume level - or whether on speaker or not - there is a low level interference/noise in the received audio. Overall, the audio is somewhat muffled and indistinct, even to a person with full-hearing. This may be the result of a poor speaker and/or cheap/poor chip-sets (?). These effects deteriorate at the higher volume levels - and are significantly worse that several other cordless phones tried in the same environment.Otherwise, the design, instructions and packaging are all fine. It fails on it's core requirement: i.e. volume adjustment on clear, clean received audio.The DECT cordlesss phone which I intended this product to replace, for my Mother, is still in use; as it's better than it - even without the claim of being designed for the hard-of-hearing.Overall: disappointed.

bought for my loss of hearing but totally poor sound quality

Seemed ok at first. First phone replaced after a few months. Two years later it is playing up cutting line out, sound awful. If i reset it's ok. For price paid this should not be happening. Disappointing overall.

For a phone sold as suitable for the hard of hearing, it should be done under the trades description act (does that still exist?). I bought a three set of these phones for my mother, they proved worse than useless and she gave up using the phone altogether. The sound quality is dreadful to start with and when you turn the volume up it does get louder but introduces a load of crackling and distortions on top Unusable. I have just replaced the phones with the seimens gigaset E370 phones and what an improvement! Mum’s now busy phoning everyone she’s been unable to talk to while she’s had the geemarc phones. She’s an old lady living on her own and it’s criminal that she was cut off from the outside world by these phones which are allegedly for the hard of hearing.

Purchased this for my hearing impaired wife, who uses the t-loop setting on her hearing aids to watch TV and listen to music, this phone simply doesn't broadcast a t-loop signal as it suggests - and this "feature" isn't referred to on the box of the phone, or in the instructions.The in built amplification distorts the sound and is actually worse than our non-amplified phone. Very disappointing and misleading product description. Returned for a refund.

Parfait pour des personnes âgées, bonne prise en main, mémorisation de 4 numéros directs, sonnerie très forte.Je l'ai choisi pour une personne qui a des problèmes d'audition et enfin elle entend la sonnerie.Dommage qu'il y a qu'un seul combiné pour le prix.

Super Gerät das auch für ältere Meschen leicht zu bedienen ist. Mein Vater, der wirklich sehr schlecht hört, hat es auf leisester Stufe laufen, da es ihm sonst zu laut ist.

très mauvais son en communication - choix de sonneries nulle -affichage illisible sans prendre le combiné en main et l'allumer -signalisation d'appels en absence nul ( mon vieux PHILIPS possède un voyant rouge qui clignote en cas d'appels manqués ) je ne parle pas de l'amplification qui est 0 les seniors peuvent l'oublier

Das Telefon war ein Geschenk zum 90. Geburtstag meiner Mutter. Leider ist sie mit diesem Telefon gar nicht zurechtgekommen und war sehr unglücklich damit. Ich habe es deshalb zurückgeschickt und stattdessen ein Gigaset E300 gewählt.Folgende Sachen sind uns negativ aufgefallen:Das Display verdunkelt sich extrem schnell, so daß man fast nichts mehr lesen kann. Ein Wiederanschalten des Displays habe ich nur mit 2x Rote Taste (Ausschalten) hinbekommen, ohne eine Funktion anzuwählen. Die Schrift im Display ist generell auch viel zu klein!Die Memorytasten (M1-M4) sind so klein und so tief angebracht, daß man mit den Fingerspitzen drücken muß, um sie anzuwählen. Obwohl die Nummern M1-M4 auch im Telefonbuch angelegt sind, wird beim Wählen kein Name angezeigt, sondern nur die Telefonnummer.Dass verpasste Anrufe erfolgt sind, wird oben in der Mitte des Displays durch einen kleinen Haken dargestellt, den man sehr leicht übersehen kann.An der Seite links und rechts sind Tasten, mit denen man die Hörerlautstärke und die Tonart verstellen kann. Bei jedem Anfassen des Telefons verstellt man diese unabsichtlich. Das ist ganz schlecht.Positiv aufgefallen sind uns:Die Hörerlautstärke ist ziemlich hoch regelbar.Einen verpassten Anruf kann man sich sehr einfach durch einen Tastendruck angezeigen lassen (wer das war und wann, d.h. mit Uhrzeit).Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, daß dieses Telefon für meine Mutter (und ich denke auch für andere Senioren) nicht geeignet ist.
