My cats are little monsters when it comes to feathers. No feathered toy survived in my household more than 2 days! However after more then a week, the only managed to bend one of the feathers, nothing else.I am astonished at how sturdy they are and I play with them with this toy every day.

My 12 year old cat loves her feathers-on-the-end-of-a-rod toy. You'd not think she was getting on a bit, the way she leaps after it and rolls around on the floor attacking it.As is to be expected, if your cat likes to attack the heck out of these feathers they don't last too long. They'll become bedraggled, a feather will fall out here and there, and they won't spin as much. You should check the feathers regularly for splits along the length of them because it can be quite sharp. As long as it's not dangerous to do so, you can continue using the feathers even though they start looking a little sorry for themselves, but in my experience as soon as you pop a new one on the end of that rod your cat will know the difference and be given a new lease of life.

These are a smash hit with my bengals which tear around in a frenzy getting exhausted by me whipping this around. A recommended alternative to the official Da Bird item since their replacements are comparatively expensive. They spin really well making the right fluttering sound too. Thus far it appears to be robust enough - I have purchased other replacement feather attachments from a different supplier but was not surprised at them deteriorating relatively quickly since were cheaply made, the spinner either gets bent so it can't spin after being chewed, and claws snag the metal attachment part too easily unlike this item which has a thicker plastic collar around this area. In fairness these sorts of feather toys will eventually wear out from the rough play, but these particular ones are worth the extra expense. I have to put these away after a play session as the cats would 'kill' these if left out!

The media could not be loaded.  I use these bird feather attachments to go on my Jackson galaxy air wand and they fly beautifully, my cats adore them. I couldn’t recommend them more and I will continue to buy.(Also please note the reason the video has realistic bird sounds is because I cut a sound box out of a ‘Backyard play n squeak’ black bird toy that you can buy from Pets at home and glued it to the back of my Jackson galaxy wand to give the cats a more realistic experience, the glued soundbox can be seen in the second image. Definitely my cat's favourite toy. A friend of mine bought it for my cat a few months ago. It has been his favourite toy since. I tried a number of other feather toys with him, but nothing could beat this one. So I came back for it. It's good quality, although a little bit expensive. But considering the amount of money I wasted on other cheaper but less attractive toys, I think this one is worth the price.

I can’t rate this product highly enough. This is a must have for all cat owners. I have a male cat and he has a lot of energy and plays rough. This is his favourite toy and has helped greatly with his behaviour as it is the only toy that can tire him out. This toy gets used several times a day and the durability/quality is fabulous. Definitely will buy again

My cat loves Da Bird since we got it but destroys it pretty quickly! These are a really great value refill which my cat is equally crazy for. I gave 5 stars for durability and sturdiness because frankly i don't think they could make it any better at withstanding so many bites and pulls. Will no doubt be buying again and again!
