OCuSOFT 730-1-37 Lid Scrub Plus Foam Eyelid Cleanser for Moderate-Severe Conditions, 50ml Bottle

This is great stuff. I was wanting a return bottle but for some reason it's broken. I have been told I can keep the bottle and the contents and get £10 back so that's what ive gone for.

I give it 5 Stars because my one star recommendation was not accepted. It really is a lovely soft foam delivered simply by depressing the top. It's a bit like the foam off the top of a bowl of hot water freshly poured onto a good quality dish washing liquid. A lovely soft foam, kind to the eyes and consisting only of pure soap and pure air and pure water. I bought it for cleaning the products of blepharitis from my eyes as it has had excellent reviews. Unfortunately for some reason the promised "scrub" effect was omitted from my product. Without the scrub it had no effect on the crusty golden products of blepharitis which appear under the eyelids in the mornings and are hard to shift and I understand better why that might be after searching Crystaloptometry website. However it is a lovely product which I thoroughly recommend and is considerably cheaper than Cliradex.

On one hand, my eyelashes have not made their way into my eyes by falling the whole day anymore. Meaning, I barely get one every few days and when I am rubbing with it my eyeladhes I may get one or two but really it's better like that than in my eyes. On the other hand, it does sting my eyes. Now, my eyes are too sensitive to keep open even with my own tears, but it is possible to find products that are not creating any reaction and this is not one of them. I can also still see the deposits at the roots of my eyelashes so to be honest with you I have no idea on how effective it is. I don't rinse it off after using it. It does make your eyes feel clean (although in my case that also means dry since my eyes are super dry by themselves). My biggest problem is the stinging of the eyes. If I apply and keep my eyes closed until it dries I don't get that.

I love this stuff and am sad that it appears to no longer be available. I haven't found a suitable replacement. I hope the maker sees this and brings it back.

My 5 year old daughter kept getting styes in her eyes. A Lot! She constantly had at-least one stye in either eye for around 10 months, even the doctor said some people are just susceptible and nothing you can really do about it. Obviously, I kept her eyes clean but nothing helped. I did a bit of research and came across this product with good reviews. I’ve bought 3 of these now. Container is small but lasts around 6 weeks with a morning and evening application to both eyes. She hasn’t had a single stye since we’ve started using this on her. And it’s so mild and gentle that she actually enjoys her eyewash routine. I recommend this product to anyone suffering eye problems.

This product was recommended to me by a friend whose husband is an optometrist. My own hadn’t heard of it. I have blepharitis and it does help by reducing the debris around the eyelids and reducing the excess tear production. It doesn’t eliminate blepharitis entirely for me but if I forget to use it the symptoms become worse. It’s easy to wipe over the eyelids as it is a foam and can be done with a clean finger.

Very expensive for what another make achieves for at least twice as much liquid. It's ok but I wouldn't buy it again

I've suffered with blepharitis which is the blocking of the oil glands causing red bumps ON the eye lid & for me it often leads to chalazions which are small pea like lumps that you can feel UNDER either eye lids. I've tried EVERYTHING, stumbled across this after yet more research and what an absolute game changer. Easy to apply - a small squirt of the foam onto your finger tips - and gently rub over closed eyes, being sure to rub up and down to get to the eyelash roots. It can sting ever so slightly if it gets in your eyes but I kid you not, I noticed a difference after just one use!.... its now part of my night time skin routine 👌

This product does a fantastic job removing residue of dried eyedrops, tears, and other secretions/debris from the eyelids. As a result, the eyes are not chronically irritated by this residue, which normal washing with soap and water does not remove. So the whites of the eyes are whiter and less red, and the eyes do not have that itchy feeling. And it is not necessary to use eye drops as frequently. The product does not sting the eyes if you get some of it in your eyes. It does not feel good, but it is not terribly unpleasant. I learned about this product by accident; I was completely unaware of this product or similar products. The enthusiastic reviews of this product that I read on Amazon are entirely justified. Here is what I do: I quickly depress the plunger on top of the bottle to dispense some foam into the cupped palm of my hand. Then, I use my index finger to scoop up half the foam and gently rub it across the eyelid of one closed eye. Then, I use my index finger to scoop up the rest of the foam and gently rub it across the eyelid of the other closed eye. The product is a liquid that is converted to foam by quickly passing through a nozzle, so it is necessary to apply the product to the eyelids without delay. Then, I gently rub back and forth sideways on the eyelids as if massaging the product into the eyelids. Then, I rinse my eyelids with warm water to remove the excess product and debris that has been loosened by the product. The product not only removes the debris, it seems to act as a skin moisturizer and conditioner for the eyelids. So your eyes feel clean and fresh in a way that I had not experienced for MANY years. I do this in the morning after I have showered and washed my face with soap and water, and I do it in the evening. It is hard to overstate the utility of this product. Using the product in this manner, my first bottle lasted nine weeks. So the cost no problem, especially considering how valuable the product is.

It did the job of cleaning my lashes. Ever since I used it I never had any stye or chalazion. Easy to use, non irritating.
