I fitted an infrared heater into my Summer House for the chilly evenings. The ceiling was getting hot when the heater was in use. I fitted the reflective insulation, which was easy and the adhesive backing stuck very well. The result has been good; the infrared heat is reflected into the Summer House and the ceiling only gets warm instead of hot.

Used to provide heat shielding for a Diesel Heater in our Campervan. Easy install as the product is flexible and has effective self adhesive. Just the right thickness and reflects the heat very well. Very pleased with this product.

Before having a gas hob installed, I was told I needed a flameproof panel, but the supplier didn't know what I was talking about, and my builder said it wasn't necessary - Mexican standoff. I found this on Google. £46 and everyone is happy. If only they had rolled it instead of folding it, I would have given 5 stars. Unfortunately, the creases show.

I had over the oven cabinets installed and covered the bottoms with this. It was great stuck well and keeps it a little safer

I just received the "heat shield", and was very keen to test it, my microwave is close to the fridge, and it blows hot air right onto the side of the refrigerator - which I wanted to protect somehow. Ran an oven function for only 10 min (200deg), to see if the "heat shield" really works, ...unfortunately, it's not working at all. Quickly removed the "heat shield" from the fridge to check the fridge surface - it was hot! (I think it had no effect at all, feels the same without the "marvellous" heat shield.

This stuff claims a good heat resistance, is pretty thin for tight spaces and sticks really well. Works well under the hob on my boat.

Heat deflection/protection is not an easy task to complete, yet this product seems like it traps the heat then transfers it to whatever you have stuck it to.

Work as described, and very cheap. Reduces temperature measurably on non contact areas, hasn’t burned up or fallen off yet. Adhesive seems sticky enough but this will be a surface by surface bases, doesn’t help to bust out some adhesive in a bottle if you know it’s gonna be permanent.

I bought this because I want to have some simple protection on the wall to one side of my toaster oven where it vents out the hot air. It is a flat wood veneer surface, so working with it is not difficult to begin with, that is, it is not a porous surface.I just cut it down to the size I needed, peeled the paper on the back side and then stuck it against the wall. I did make sure I had one edge aligned before I smoothed things down. Because this heat shield is quite stiff, it is actually easy to stick it to the wall. There was no bunching up or anything.As other reviewers pointed out, this heat shield comes "folded", so you will have a crease. I did my best to reduce that crease by folding it the other way. I let it sit lying flat for a few days with some heavy books on top of it to try and get it as flat as I can, but you can never get rid of that crease. At least for my application, it is hidden from view, so I am not as concerned about it. If this needed to be aesthetically pleasing, you may need to think about doing something about it.At least for me, I'm satisfied with the results. I only JUST put this up, so I can only assume that the adhesive will be good for some time...Will have to see about it.

Compre este aislante para ponerlo detrás del frigorífico de mi autocaravana ya que el frigorífico desprende bastante calor y los armarios superiores se calentaban.El aislante está compuesto de varias capas, la exterior de aluminio, tiene una capa de tejido parecido a la fibra de vidrio y la capa adhesiva. Me ha parecido de muy buena calidad, es resistente y el adhesivo es fuerte, al colocarlo hay que hacerlo con cuidado ya que si lo ponemos mal cuesta mucho despegarlo.No se ha desprendido con el calor, lleva colocado un par semanas y se nota el aislamiento térmico, los armarios no apenas se calientan.
