Proper Sturdy lad!
This is some solid unit I tell ye! Holds the shape well but is still felixble enough to easily move. Holds a pixel 6 no issues. The flexibility of the ball joint on this newer model makes it a decent upgrade on the last.Update June 2024: It eventually snapped after about 10 months of use. Has been used most days and adjusted so I put it down to wear and tear. I ended up getting a new one which I'll be a bit less heavy handed with.

Good but stiff to get the position you want
It’s handy piece of kit to put your phone where you want it in your field of view but can take a good bit of twisting to get it where you want as it’s a bit too stiff

Broke twice. Poor product and customer service
I have had two of these (first one was replaced by seller) and both snapped within a month of purchase in the same place- see pic. Basically not fit for purpose and poor design/materials.I contacted the seller the first time as that's where amazon customer service directed me. They ignored my request for a refund (I could see it was likely to break in the same place again) and sent me a replacement. When the replacement also broke I contacted amazon directly to ask for a refund, which was given.Overall poor product.

Just about ok
A reasonable flexi phone holder thats put together ok but the plastic components look cheapIt's easy to set up and easy to use, it's reasonably sturdy when fitted but the clamp looks a bit frail, however, it's worked fine up to now, I'm using over my bench in the workshop so my phone doesn't get damagedThe price is a bit high for the quality but it functions okAn ok product, not manufactured to a high standard but it works

Resistente
Después de varios que he comprado, este ha sido el mejor. Sostiene súper bien el celular, no se resbala.Es duro el soporte pero eso da estabilidad. Un 10

The best phone holder I’ve bought.
I used to use a phone holder that gave a Birds Eye view and it sucked. This one is so much better. It’s so easy to put your phone in the holder because1. it’s just a clamp that holds your phone which is super easy to put in, unlike a lot of phone holders.2. I can easily see what’s being recorded and I can press start/stop on my camera while it’s in the clamp.3. It clamps onto ANYTHING and you can position the camera a million ways.4. It’s super sturdy and durable. Maybe even a little too much, as it’s pretty stiff when you’re trying to change the position of it, but it definitely holds your phone up really well. I love it.

Should've gotten this sooner!
I knew I had a quality product on my hands when I noticed the rubber strip just in front of the clamp's hinge. As far as I can tell, its only purpose is protecting the clamp's spring, preventing anything from getting pinched in there. It has nothing to do with basic functionality, or with advertised features. It just makes the product better. This isn't one of those products where you wish the manufacturer had spent an extra nickel on better components; nor where you take it out of the packaging and realize that it was designed to just barely fulfill the letter of its features but not their spirit. You know that feeling when you get a pair of headphones and the "integrated playback controls" are a single button that recognizes various sequences of short and long presses? Or a camera that advertises 240 FPS but it turns out that it records at 30 FPS and then inserts seven extra copies of each frame? This, by contrast, is a good product. A maximum viable product, if you will, rather than a minimum viable product. I'm very happy with it. Here are some details that you may be wondering about.First, the clamp tension securely holds a phone without crushing it in a death grip. As shown in the photos, a phone can be placed in two positions: near the front of the clamp, and behind the second set of "teeth." This is useful if you have - here's detail two - a phone with a thick battery case. The first position holds a phone of average thickness perfectly, and a very thick phone very passably. If you want more peace of mind, though, you can move the phone a bit rearwards so that its front is held by the first position's rear teeth. Those teeth may cover a tiny portion of the phone's screen (given modern narrow bezels), but that's part of what guarantees their secure hold.Third, the ball joint connecting the clamp to the gooseneck is perfectly serviceable. It's easy to tighten and loosen, easy to adjust when loose, and firm enough when tight. If you have a really heavy phone, though - or if you put one phone off to one side in the first position and another toward the opposite side in the second, like I do, because I sometimes want a miniature dual-monitor setup - it tends to sag even when hand-tight. I can't fault it for this, because 1) that's not a reasonable load, 2) you can just let it sag and then adjust the gooseneck a bit higher to compensate, and 3) increasing the load capacity would need a whole new design, not a simple/obvious fix. Even though it's not a negative, it's a good detail to know about.Fourth, the gooseneck itself: if you're not trying to bend it, it won't bend. If you are trying to bend it, it will bend. Pretty much the perfect level of tension.Fifth, the base clamp: padded jaws that won't mar furniture, and the knob to open and close them is that entire plastic tube that extends out of the base, making it easy and comfortable to adjust.Sixth, the stability of the whole contraption: as good as can be. The gooseneck's rigidity means that very little wobble comes from the product itself. Mounting conditions are more important: mine is on my bed's headboard, which extends upward without extra support - that can wobble before I even attach anything to it. One solution is to mount it at the lowest point of the headboard, but my solution (see photos) is to adjust the gooseneck so that it rests against the wall with just a bit of tension. This cuts down any wobbling to virtually nothing. Note that I have a bit of plastic around the part that contacts the wall, to minimize wear on the wall as well as on the gooseneck's braided nylon. If you use your phone in a desktop stand, pick up your phone (yes, now) and hold it up where you wish it could be instead of on your desk. Those of you now muttering "but I want it on my desk" are all set. The rest of you would probably benefit from this gooseneck holder.
