QUALITY FAUX LEATHER 3FT (SINGLE) HEADBOARD (BLACK)

Headboard arrived without insert nuts in the back to attach the struts. Unfortunately we didn't open it until it was outside of the return window as the bed we had ordered was delayed. The seller ignored the return request but Amazon refunded us with the A-Z guarantee. We did receive 4 new bolts in the post from someone, Crownbeds I assume, but we already had the bolts, it was the insert nuts that were missing. This was the third headboard we have ordered with them, the first one was good, second one not as good as the holes were slightly misaligned and I had to stretch the wood to get it on. The third obviously was unusable, we will not use them again.

As far as headboards go, it isn't too bad. The materials that have been used are rather poor and the wooden attachments don't really fit as they should. It wasn't overly expensive and I think it will most likely only be used for short term, but I guess you get what you pay for. I cannot fault CROWNBEDSUK on their packaging and delivery, but I think it would be better to reinforce that this is a budget headboard so that customers are better informed prior to purchase.

The price should have warned me. The holes on one of the legs, which weren’t wide enough for the bolts provided, just didn’t line up with the ones on the headboard. The bolts on the other leg didn’t seem to grip anything inside the board. The folding of the material over the corners could have been much neater. A ridiculous number of staples were used to fix the cardboard packaging to the headboard. I could end up fashioning a frame and fixing this directly to the wall.

The arms/legs that are supposed to connect the headboard to the bed have misaligned holes. It is as if the holes to put the bolts through were added randomly. I bought two headboards (therefore four arms/legs), and no two had the holes in the same place, and not in the right place to fit properly either. Seriously, how hard is it to ensure that you have alligned the holes in the correct places consisttently? Very poor workmanship on what were probably the easiest parts to manufacture.I have a drill, and therefore was able to add holes in the correct places - I had to drill all four arms/legs for them the work with each headboard.So if you have your own drill and know how to use it, then go for it, buy this product it is acceptable at the price. Otherwise I would recommend that you avoid.ps: I am surprised that no one else had this problem

Very pleased with this headboard for the price. It is not the highest quality but for the price it looks really nice and it does the job. I'm using it in the spare room. Wrapping was excessive but once dangerous staples were removed it was easy to fit. Doesn't come with any bolts to attach it to the bed so if you,ve lost them you would need to buy them separately.

Unfortunately we kept this for a house move so it was too late to return - my mistake. One of the wooden struts was closed up at the end so wouldn't have been able to slot over the bolts. It wouldn't have been ablerl to slot over anyway as the struts don't line up with the holes in the bed . It is certainly true - buy cheap, buy twice.

Whilst this headboard is not as thick as more expensive headboards, it is more than adequate and represents excellent value for money. This is my second purchase from this supplier and have been very pleased with the products and prompt delivery.

Arrived with its packaging broke but everything inside was undamaged, lots of staples on package but one or two stick out so watch your hands will unpacking, headboards nice size, quite heavy but good quality, im well pleased and arrived on day promised
