Great AC WIFI
I had to change my router position a few months ago and I bought one of these to create a reliable wifi connection from my Netgear Nighthawk AC199 router to my games PC (i5 @ 4.5GHz). It maintained my hard wired download speed of 37Mbps at a distance of about 7 metres through a wooden floor. I greatly increased the 5.0 GHz link speed by not plugging in directly behind the PC but using a 3 metre USB cable to move the device as close to the router as possible. I get a 700 Mbps link.I bought a second to connect my media machine (Atom @ 1.4 GHz). The internal N WiFi gave me a download speed of only 3. Mbps. The Belkin permitted AC to give a link speed of 468 Mbps and a download of 23.9 Mbps. The connection is at a distance of about 4 metres through a plasterboard wall with the dongle masked by a TV.These devices provide a strong reliable signal with fast transfer rates.

Amazing difference!
Wow, What a difference! We have a computer at the back of our house and the router is at the front of the house. The extension is on a different ring mains to the rest of the house so unable to use powerline adapter. Two walls separating the PC and the router.Found this adapter and read all the reviews and thought I would give it a try.Went from 1 bar on the old dongle to 4 bars with this dongle and found that the wifi speed had now increased massivel. Also purchased a USB extension cable and that allowed me to put his on a book shelf above the PC rather than plugged in to the back of the PC and the signal went up to 5 full bars.Highly recommend this dongle and also an extension cable if like us you have your PC hidden away under a computer desk or in a unit/cabinet.

Much better than the old Belkin dongle I had.
I was having a multitude of problems with a 5-10 year old N wireless dongle, also from Belkin, which was considerably larger and kept dropping connection - until I got this. All internet issues have been solved, without me having to move my entire desk closer to the wireless hub. The diminutive stature of this dongle is also a great advantage - it will invariably receive less knocks and when it does, they won't be as impactful. It's also a lot more sightly than the old dongle I was using, which on top of everything suffered from bending under its own weight, when plugged in flat horizontally. No such problems with this one. So all in all, a 9/10. I would give it a 10/10 if it did something awesome like actually boost my signal to be significantly faster than before. And I'd also like it if these Belkin dongles were plug and play.

Problem Solved!
For quite a while I had been experiencing problems with the range of the wireless connection in my house. Problem started when I moved home. I moved to a larger house that is old and has very thick walls. Despite using a wireless N router, the signal was poor and sometimes non-existant in certain parts of the house which was pretty irritating. Phoned up the broadband provider a few times to discuss the problem and was told that it was likely due to the house having thick walls. After about the third time of calling I was told to try changing the network channel to one that was less busy. Did this and it improved the situation slightly. I was then told to check the laptop to see what network the computer was set up to run with and found that it was set up for wireless G and not N.Did a bit of browsing for various wireless network adapters and found this one which obviously is compatible with N. It came with a CD for set up. Fired the CD into the computer and from there on it was very easy to install. Instructions were very simple to follow and were available for Windows 7, Vista and XP.I found instantly that the wireless was working much faster, and more importantly was working well in all of the "black spots" where previously it had failed to connect. In other words, money well spent on an effective and hassle free product.

It does what it says in the blurb
I purchased and installed this after suffering a lot of problems with my new BT wireles broadband. BT technical support failed to advise me that my old Netgear WG111v2 adapter would not work very well with the 'n' standard router which they supply (this inspight of the fact that I asked them specifically if it would do the job and I informed them on a number of occasions that my adapter was an elderly 'g' adapter - so 0 out of 10 for BT Broadband technical support). After a lot of searching about on the web i managed to ascertain that a 'g' standard adapter would probably not work well with 'n' standard wireless. My Broadband was really slow and kept continuously disconnecting - very annoying. The Belkin N300 was very easy to install and it cured all the problems immediately. My Broadband now connects very quickly when I switch on my PC; it stays connected - does not keep losing the signal; it's certainly fast enough for me - i watch YouTube clips and BBC iPlayer - no problems - no whirling wait in the middle of a movie. So it has worked for me and does a good job.

A Great Buy for something so small
When I update my BT hub to the new fibre broadband I needed a new wireless adapter for my laptop and as I was already using a Belkin Wireless G+, I check out on Amazon to see if I could get a new Belkin adapter. And I found a large range of Belkin adapters and the one I saw and purchase was the Belkin Wireless N300 USB Adaper I did have one problem getting the software install but this was only because another program was stopping me install the Belkin software, but in the end I have got the software for the adapter install, and I am getting on line within about 10 minutes. And the best thing about this adapter is the size of it, as it only stick out of the side of my laptop by about 3cmms, and I am getting good speeds as well so yes I am happy with this purchase.

Does what it says on the box
Item arrived as said , but found it difficult at first to install into windows 10. (Windows does insist and installs its own drivers). But you need to select the other available drivers. Contacted Belkin using online chat facility who were as much use as a chocolate fireguard. All said, device working fine in Windows 10
