Great quick delivery, I purchased for my elderly mum, she is delighted with it, big buttons, I've set the phone so when she opens it automatically answer the call, likewise when finished close the lid and it disconnects the call. It's easy to do in the phone menu and makes it easier for her to use.My blind wife has the same phone, they don't do fancy, but they do keep them in contact which is what they both required...

Good mobile 'phone for elderly folk and/or those requiring a simple 'phone for mainly emergency use.Useful features such as ICE (in case of emergency) which gives the emergency services essential information that can be accessed even when the 'phone is PIN protected and switched off.In addition there is an emergency button that will alert chosen relatives/people/doctor if help is required.A manual can be accessed online, which you can read before deciding to purchase.It comes SIM free so you can choose your service provider; giffgaff is certainly worth looking at.Recommended.Star rating revised down to 4 stars because battery failed after only 10months.

My husband is a bit of a technophobe and no matter which phone he bought, it was always "too busy" and his finger did not seem to work on a touch screen. He used to get very cross. Then one day, at a funeral, the person sitting next to him recommended this phone as being simple, with large numbers and easy buttons. Could phone obviously, text, and take photos, open easily, build a contacts list with very little difficulty. She got hers from Tescos on a contract sim. I searched for a sim free and found this one from Amazon. Highly recommended. I now have a happy husband who actually now carries his phone with him and uses it!!

Purchased for 84 year old father and a little disappointed with the overall result. On the positive side the keys are a good size and easy to use, good screen size and the ringing volume is very loud which helps as he is hard of hearing. On the negative side for the price technologically it’s a very old phone and if you are an elderly person navigating the menu options can be confusing and time consuming. I also had to disable the SOS function because the way he holds the phone when texting he kept activating it. It’s dated technology I can see why Doro have discontinued it.

Bought this phone for my 76 year old father in Law in January 2017. The phone switches off constantly, leaving a elderly man, that lives on his own very frustrated. I have contacted the suppler for a replacement. I will see how the new one goes, if it is faulty again, I will look for another phone for him which is not a Doro.

My friend is delighted with this phone, she has failing eyesight so this phone is ideal for her. The phone arrived well packaged and in good time. The phone has many helpful features, camera, backlight options, so writing is very clear and large. Easy to use and very good for those who find the touch phone difficult to use. Would highly recommend and have bought another for my elderly Aunt. All round simple ,easy to use great little phone.
