Yesterday we had crinkle cut chips for the first time. They tasted just like any other chips cooked by the person who owns and runs my favourite kitchen except that they were crinkle cut.The tool is strong and sharp, was purchased as a bit of fun and the chips looked great. We can't wait to try it out on the grandchildren - by which time we will have invented a story about the magic of 'crinkle cut chips' which will have them laughing all the way back to school.NM

I got one cutter that broke in 4 days (having just started blw it was used each day but not exactly excessively). I thought hard which to buy next so not to get another failure, and this looked the sturdiest. It really is. Its amazing. I highly recommend!!

The cutting edge is not sharpened to a knife edge. It tapers slightly down to a 0.2-0.5mm thick flat edge. The photo shows light reflecting off this flat edge, if it were sharp, this line wouldn't appear.Tested with cucumbers, couldn't cut through them.Returning the item.2 stars cause it may be useful for some other purpose where it doesn't need to be sharp, and in that case it feels reasonably sturdy and comfortable to grip just not sharp.

This does exactly what you’d expect. Cuts potatoes with ease into crinkle shapes. Also does waffle cut chips if you keep rotating the potato by 90 degrees back and forth. Nice sharp blade, comfortable handle, very pleased with this product

My friends elderly mother wanted crinkle cut chips. Never sure nowadays of the quality of an item bought on the internet but I was greatly impressed by this, as was my friends mum by her chips.

Had one of these before so decided to get a new one after after old one disappeared and I'm very happy with this. Love crinkle cut chips and this makes it super easy. Nice and sturdy and easy to clean. Would recommend

Easy to hold and very sharp. Bought to cut up finger food for my baby daughter whilst doing baby-led weaning - the ridges make the food much easier for her tiny hands! Plus, my husband was mega-excited when I gave him crinkle-cut chips for tea. Simple things...

It's really good I didn't expect it to be so big, I wanted my son to use it but it's too big for his hands
