Apple Siri Remote (3rd generation)

I replaced several remotes with this one and one button press switches on Apple TV and my projector at the same time. I paired it with Apple TV 4k 1st generation and it is a worthwhile upgrade on the original remote.

This remote is expensive but what Apple product isn’t, but it is the best.

This controller is beautifully made and works perfectly. I am totally pleased with it.

Big fan of Apple with an iPhone, iPad, watch and 4k Apple TV so when I saw the update on the remote control I thought finally!The original control was design for a 5 year old hand and the swipe feature drove me up the wall as it was too small to do as intended. The update is heavier still a tad too small for my hand but infinitely better than the original. It’s easy to navigate and has an ‘off’ function which beggars to belief why this wasn’t a feature of the first one.But what comes as a complete insult is the £60 price tag! For a controller that was not suitable in the first place there should surely be a reasonable price to replace it or some sort of discount with prove of purchase for those of us who suffered the original controller. Can do better Apple.

It works perfectly with an Apple TV. I like the new design and also find my functionality comes in handy sometimes

Upgraded from the 1st gen remote as it got accidentally washed with our cosy blanket.This has a nice weight and is quite different than the first gen. My wife is happy with this as she never liked the swiping action of the original remote. This still has a swiping function that works well, but I think i'm still a fan of the original remote.My only gripe with this is that the mute button feels that it's in the wrong position for me.It's placed at the bottom left of the remote, while the pause/play button is right above it and in the middle of two button.It's been a week since we got this, and my brain still thinks that the bottom left button is the pause/play button, so most of the times i try to pause a movie, i end up muting it.This is of course something that I'll get use to in the coming few days, but I can't help but think that the bottom left button would have been better suited for the pause button as i believe I feel I'm using this more, e.g. when someone enters the room, or when i need to do a snack run, or have a toilet break.Anyway, that's not a big deal of course, just an observation/user preference

This is so much better that Gen 1. The only complaint is that it's so cold to the touch so had to buy a silicon case to cover it. Well worth the upgrade.

I had the original Siri Remote for the 1st 4K but it was too finicky and the touchpad was too sensitive. I switched to the little aluminium one but it was just too small in the hand and did t feel right. This one is the right size, you can decide if you want a touch or manual (button) scroll, and it is not overly sensitive. You actually have some control settings for that too. This one works.

Acquistata per Apple TV HD avevo paura che non fosse compatibile invece non ho fatto in tempo ad accenderlo che si è collegato funziona benissimo, il prodotto è originale per cui c’è poco da dire qualità e garanzia. Arrivato in 1 giorno.

Je me joint à ce qui l'ont déjà dit. Cette génération est bien plus ergonomique que la surface noire entièrement tactile de la précédente. L'appairage est immédiat. Télécommande entièrement satisfaisante si ce n'est le prix plus qu'exagéré pour ce type de matériel. Si il faut lui trouver un défaut, c'est les clics des boutons un peu trop bruyants à mon goût.

Habe diesen für meine 3 Jahre alten Apple TV gekauft. Die Installation ist kinderleicht und die Fernbedienung ist robuster und schöner als die alte. 👍🏼
