The following might seems as though I don't like this unit - actually, I do and I recommend it. It works well enough overall & has great video quality which is the main thing.Plus points- Video quality is excellent even at night.- Easy to fit.- The button is useful for capturing events and images - however, it can be a little hard to find the right place to put it.- The static trigger is good for when your car is parked- GPS is included in the box - this isn't clear in the description. The GPS works pretty well.- The OBD port connection is easy to set up and gives access to the car's speed, revs, etc. A nice touch.- I've had a couple of firmware updates over 6 months which is hopeful. Certainly the whole thing was a little flaky to begin with but the updates have stabilised both the unit and the iOS app.- The camera is easy enough to rotate. I had to laugh at the idiot who was tailgating me on a full motorway. He backed off in a hurry when I rotated the camera!No so good:- You really do need a large micro SD card (certainly >32GB) because you cannot do firmware updates otherwise & you get constant, annoying voice warnings. The recommended size is 128GB which isn't especially cheap and does seem excessive. I didn't try a 64GB card though so can't comment if this would also work.- The lane drift and proximity warnings are horrid, turn them off! Maybe they work better in some countries with wider lanes and less busy roads but in the UK, the constantly triggered voice warnings drive you mad.- It is noisy with lots of fairly harsh bleeps going on, sometimes seemingly at random and it is hard to work out what they mean.- Annoying, when connected to the OBD port, that the engine autostop while waiting at junctions turns off the unit too quickly with several annoying bleeps. That should be an option.- Why do you force people to create an online account? Really not needed unless you want to share videos - which very few people do. Also, as this isn't made clear up front, I suspect that the way this is handled is not compliant with the new GDPR law.- The trip recording feature isn't easy to use and there doesn't seem to be any way to export trips to other services like Google Earth. If it had a KML export option, it would be much better. The download of trip information could also be made a lot easier.

Its great camera the quality of pictures remarkable day/night but working only fir one year after you can't download & you keep emailing them there are no reply at all it's completely waste of money in that case..

Doesn't seem to record a full journey

this Dash cam come today I have fitted it with the rear cam too. the front cam works good as does the back cam the only problems I had was the leads was a bit too long for my 207 but that's a good thing really the other was the red wire for the back cam to go into reverse mode needs wiring into your reverse light and my cable was to short so more wire is needed to complet this job.the app works well and the image is not to bad I will link a video ones I have been on the road with it some more

Connected to iPhone ok, full of Chinese video clips that cannot be deleted. Connectors for gps and hard wiring are round for square holes. Internal voice clear but offering advice when not needed or at the wrong times.

This is a great car Dash cam that is smart and works brilliantly.I bought this out of the many available because I liked the sound of the smart features it has and how simple it sounded to set up and use.So to start with I knew that this dash cam would be suitable for my cars OBD port for powering the cam, which is a great idea and means it always has power when needed.So the first thing I did was to route the power cable under the door trim and up the pillar then along the headliner to where I knew I wanted the camera. This was made easy by using the provided tool to prise away the trim just enough for the cable to fit under. Once I had this in place I then moved onto the GPS cable which I again placed under the rim using the tools and brought it out on the cars dash just under the windscreen.I then mounted the camera onto the windscreen using the provided mount.Now I had everything in place I put a 32GB Micro SD card into the camera and went on to download the 'HaloCam Auto' app onto my phone so I can set everything up. I needed to format the SD card which cam be done using the app. Once this is done the camera will automatically start recording onto the SD card without the need for using the app. You can then use the app to view the recordings and take still images also.The included magic remote also enables you to take images and video and instantly share them on Facebook, twitter etc.In the app you can also set up things like lane change indicator, units, storage etc.I found this camera really easy to set up and once installed the camera kind of takes care of itself.The app is also really easy to use and I like the fact that you can do a diagnostics check, and with the added GPS you can map your movements and speed etc.The recording quality is very very good and plays back great on my phone and you can even download it straight to your phone too.All in all I am giving this 5 stars because its a great cam that works and is very easy to set up
